| This has been a complete surprise to me how much I enjoyed this album. With the pre release singles I thought it was gonna be ok, but was not blown away. And on the initial playthrough I was of the same mind. Then when I listened to it again, it just clicked and has been on repeat a lot since then, to the point it's in my top 5 albums of 2023. I do think the album benefits from some of the songs being co-written by Paul Laine, but even saying that, the tracks not penned by him hold their own as well. I don't think Cassidy has the strongest vocal style, but rock isnt always about being the best vocalist. Look forward to more stuff in the future. | |
