Budget live album from the Extended versions series, although this one is a great live recording with Jimmy Farar on vox, from 1980 'Beatin' The Odds' tour. I always preferred Danny Joe Brown as a frontman, but Farrar manages to do justice to the Classic Hatchet material.

Most of these Extended Versions CDs suck because all they are is abreviated versions of live CDs that already exist. In this case, Sony released a radio broadcast that wasn't previously available on CD. Recorded live in Los Angeles, CA in 1982 in front of a roaring crowd at the Palladium. It's a shame they didn't put a few more songs on it though as the entire show was recorded. I would suggest picking up "Greatest Hits Live" (King Biscuit Flower Hour) instead as it features a few more tracks.

Good old live album that shows Molly Hatchet raw and direct..with Jimmy Farrar on vocals("Beatin' The Odds" & Take No Prisoners" albums to name some)..."Beatin' The Odds","Bounty Hunter","Dreams I'll Never See","Lady Luck" & "It's All Over Now" are my faves out of this release...80/100
