Personally, I think it is ANY version of Hatchets best. |

Yes, this one kicks ass !! It sounds like Manowar gone south...Powerful & energetic songs with crossover potential so it may appeal to fans of hard-edged metal as well...Highlight: "Tatanka"...Manowar couldn't have done it better! Only bad thing is the vocals...Much too restrained & weak in comparison to the brutal guitar onslaught of Bobby Ingram... |

From: Chip | Date: April 22, 2004 at 17:20 |
Sounds good but too bad there are no more original members left in the band...I miss Danny Joe and the rest of the boys. |

Scandinavia you are spot on!!! ...Manowar gone south!!! ...actually Molly Hatchet has turned its music into a more heavy territory since some time ago...but one thing is for sure, they do it like GODS!!!...this release has some great tunes in it such as "Down From The Mountain","Rolling Thunder","Heartless Land","Tatanka"(the best cut of the album IMHO),"The Look In Your Eyes"(very nice song) & "The Journey"...powerful vocals courtesy of Danny Joe Brown and the rest of the guys kicking a** the way they know to do...recommended...88/100 |
