|Man this cd Rocks, it is unbelievalbe, originlly this group was signed with Atlantic Records before the grundge era hit, they would have been the next group. This is a must for any Great American Hard Rock fan such as Bon Jovi, Danger Danger, ect... Find them on the web and grab this cd they have 2, both are great

|If you liked the very first Danger Danger Album, then you will love this cd as well. Great vocal, solid ballads, and hard hitting tunes that just make you get up and Rock.

|A very good melodic hard rock album. This band captured me since I heard Talking to Sarah on the first mtm compilation. It's a very catchy song a real master piece. The singer is great, I like very much also Closer to the heart, Something about you and Ain't nobody to love. I appreciate also the lyrics.

|somebody once described tower city as a mixture of giant and def leppard.....i totally agree with that description.anyway any album that has mike slammer in the credits ,you can be sure its going to be good.

|A Little Bit Of Fire is basically a mix between 'Adrenalize' era-Leppard and early Harem Scarem, with a little Bon Jovi commecialness thrown in. Yep, there is a heavy likeness to the mighy Leps, with the big vocals, the multi-track guitar sounds and even the drums. But that is only part of the attraction of the album. There are the big ballads like 'Surrender' and 'I'll Sleep Tonight', big rockers like 'Talking To Sarah' and 'Hooked On Hope' and even some mid paced tunes like 'Something About Yo

|Brilliant AOR combining the best ob Def Leppard, Mike Slammer, Harem Scarem (early) and Giant all rolled into one. Given a major label marketing budget and released back in the day this would have sold millions. Awesomee 10/10

|I agree with you on this one, Rockhead ! Great hard AOR, but not a ten. That's perfect, and not one record is perfect. I should say 8,5/10 !

|This is an excellent CD!!! From the excellent opener 'Talking to Sarah' you know you're in business. The title track is great, 'I'll sleep tonight' is a beautiful ballad, 'Surrender', 'Closer to the heart', 'When it all falls down' and the excellent 'Something about you' - just excellent slabs of melodic hard rock. I love this CD!

|Great album and in my view the stand out track is the classic "Stop Running".

|I have been digging Larry Saltis' vocals since he was in the New Monkees. I think that I'm the only human that heard them. This cd is well produced, but almost too much like Def Leppard. I give it a 6/10. I think that their other cd " All or Nothing" is actually more original sounding. Still - all in all - I think they rock!

|Get this album! While the album starts off with a weaker track (Talking to Sarah) it grows afterward. If you like Bon Jovi, Leppard and Danger Danger, this is your band. The vocals are heavily influenced by Jon Bon Jovi and the music seems to have more keys than David Bryan gets to play but I hope you get the idea. Sounds alot like Bounce-era Jovi. Good stuff. Contrary to my comments this is not a Jovi rip off band. They hold their own. Just trying to give comparisons.

El sonido rockero más melódico esta en “A little bit of fire” o “Closer to your heart”:geniales!

|I first heard "Talking to Sarah" on one of those MTM samplers and liked it. After buying and listening to this phantastic album I find that most songs are actually better than the opener. Great hooks, no fillers !! Get it !!

|Another very commercial release that I think is just a little overated. The songwriting feels radio-driven, especially Talking To Sarah. They just need to add some soul. Having said that, I think Moonlight is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Great song to listen to with the windows rolled down, good atmosphere, good soloing, catchy hook, and good enough to make it into my favorites playlist. I may not think highly of the rest of the album, but that song is awesome!

|Amazing album!..loved it all..plenty of energy and melody..the band has Def Leppard as a major influenced i supposed..(probably a low peak because could lack of originality,i mean the voice of Larry Saltis ala Joe Elliot and the choruses are 100% Def Leppard trademark)but apart from that is a very enjoyable album..about the tracks i could say that the best for me were "Talking To Sarah","Little Bit Of Fire" very catchy,"Ain't Nobody To Love" excellent,"I'll Sleep Tonight" a mega ballad,"Surrender" catchy too,"Closer To The Heart" solid,"Stop Running","When It All Falls Down" lovely AOR and "Love And Money" rocks!..essential album if u loke sweet yet solid melodies..about the DL comparisson, well forget about it!.Buy and enjoy.98/100

|American Hard Rock such as Bon Jovi, Danger Danger...But your ratings are higher than Bon Jovi, Danger Danger, and do not feel too ridiculous?
||Date: January 20, 2012 at 10:20|
|i remember in 1996 the boss of mtm says "we have find in the deep of america a band whose name is tower city.it is 3 guys ,2 brothers and a friend who plays an unique and amazing melodic rock influenced by def leppard but not only".hum i was a little septic but the first time i hear this bomb i was scotched on my chair.these guys are pure genius they are unique they have their particular own style.i have never hear a hard fm like this with irresistibles choruses, big choirs, big guitars, superb keyboards and clear guitars like in the funfy music.this mix is amazing and simply extraordinaty.not ok with yuki the same common point they have with bon jovi and danger danger it is that they are american.musically they have nothing in common with these 2 legends.a real jewel all serious aor fans have this record in their collection.
