| This is the sort of re-release that makes me glad classic labels exist. Big Shot enjoy dipping their toes in hard rock, heavy metal and blues rock, but they put their best foot forward when doing jaunty AOR tunes. High vocals, angelic harmonies and keyboard-drenched choruses are on the menu for the CD's first half, and while I'm not as crazy about the more eclectic latter set of songs, even the weaker tracks have an infectious energy. Unlike other bands who play with multiple genres on a single release, none of these songs feel half-baked. This isn't the perfect album, but it's good enough to have made an immediate fan of me.
