hard rock ,in the line of "eat the heat" Accept's 88' album, david Reece is a hard rock singer and UDO is a heavy metal singer

From: BPG Date: January 22, 2002 at 8:27
Very good rockin' cd. Coverdalish vocals, too bad this didn't get more attention when originally released.

From: crazyuh Date: January 24, 2002 at 10:57
Very Good Vocal&Guitar! Listen carefully..

From: TJ Date: April 2, 2002 at 2:59
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LEAD SINGER. HIS VOICE IS AWESOME!

From: Desslar Date: April 5, 2002 at 12:39
Generic and lifeless. Opener isn't bad, but of course it's an Autograph song.

From: Tony Date: May 2, 2002 at 19:36
What's weird is individually all these guys are just great players. Curt Mitchell is just awesome but the songwriting is just so "average" on this album. Nothing sticks with you and this couldn't have come out at a worse time either. Thse guys probably could have been killer left to their own devices without this paint by number record company product. Worth $6 alone though for the song "If The Good Die Young".

From: Reno Date: May 2, 2002 at 22:26
Get their previous cd under the name Hericane Alice. Very good cd. Along the lines of Warrant and Danger Danger

From: TIM Date: May 2, 2002 at 22:47
Thanks Reno, I had them both and didn't realize that. I'd recommend Hericane Alice over this one.

From: Glamour Veins Date: May 15, 2002 at 16:55
Awesome album! If you like Hard Rock, here's what you're looking for! If the good die young, their songs live forever! Yeah!

From: TIM Date: May 18, 2002 at 22:05
Desslar's right once again, the 1st track is good but the rest is stale. I liked Hericane Alice better overall.

From: koogles Date: June 25, 2002 at 17:57
Runs out of steam by the third track. "Loaded Gun" could have been a Bon Jovi or Alice Cooper song and is this CD's primary recommendation. Average.

From: Bad Blood Babe Date: June 25, 2002 at 19:20
Right, koogles, it's really comparable to BJ and Alice Cooper! But who dares to say that Hericane Alice is better overall?! Hericane sux az!

From: Reno Date: June 25, 2002 at 19:35
I liked Bangalore Chior alot, but I would dare to say that Hericane Alice was better

From: RichieRocker Date: June 28, 2002 at 21:28
Pretty decent rock music! I thought it was pretty repetitive. Nice album cover though!

From: victor Date: August 3, 2002 at 13:47
the very best albun i like it

From: victor chassera Date: August 3, 2002 at 13:50
wonderful albun the music is the very funny

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: August 29, 2002 at 1:58

From: David Date: August 29, 2002 at 2:25
What does 1000/10 mean?

From: nitrodoll Date: August 29, 2002 at 2:44
anyone have seen the video for "loaded gun" back then? i remember the girl featured being very beautiful..this is an ok album, nothing more, nothing less

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: August 30, 2002 at 16:59

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: October 4, 2002 at 7:26
Pretty good album for hair metal. I liked tracks 1, 2, 9, and 10, personally.

From: Federico Date: October 20, 2002 at 5:45
Great albun from start to finish. A perfect example of arena hard rock with an incredible singer. David Reece really remind me Jeff Scot Soto.1,3,7and 10 are my favorite songs.

From: ted Date: December 20, 2002 at 16:04
Lo mejor de este album es el tema "doin´the dance" co-escrita por aldo nova y jon bon jovi un temazo que no incluyern finalmente en la obra maestra de aldo nova :"blood on the bricks"

From: M. Allen Date: January 2, 2003 at 16:57
You get a lot of hard rock bang for your buck with this baby. As is par for the course with early 90s hair metal, this CD is loaded with big guitars, big hooks, big choruses, and big backing vocals, all of which makes it a big success. Frankly, this blows away Hericane Alice. These guys were aiming to create a kickin' melodic hard rock release and it sounds to me like they were right on target.

From: Trick Taylor Date: January 6, 2003 at 20:11
Oh boy did I want to like this one. I was hoping for Herricane Alice Pt II, but I got Bon Crappy Pt 237! Lifeless, that is the best way to describe this slab-o-bile. I liked the singer with Accept and the Alice dudes proved they could rock, so what happened? I bet it started with some dude in a suit. Membership reminds me of Cold Sweat/Unruly Child/Dirty White Boy, supergroups of nobodys. This was somebody's last chance at stardom. Sad when you think about it.

From: Chuck Date: January 13, 2003 at 22:00
Re: Wheres the singer? Dave Reece was living in Minneapolis up until last year and most recently was working with brian lorensen, mark miller and leni dimancari on a new album. His last stuff was called sircle of silence

From: Reno Date: January 13, 2003 at 23:39
Is the guitarist Curt Mitchell the same Curt Mitchell that does the guitar instructional videos that are titled In The Method Of........? There's a Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, and a few others. Just wondering if it's the same guy. The dude in the Instructional videos kicks ass!

From: Ivo-Bulgaria Date: March 2, 2003 at 20:11
I have read many comments about this album and nobady says that David Coverdale sings like David Reece. One good album that was always compared to other bands, but really need more attention.

From: Great Dane Date: March 2, 2003 at 21:18
Coverdale sings like Reece.........No Im sure nobody said that. Its one hell of an album, BUT Coverdale and Reece.....NO. Coverdale is above....and Reece far below.

From: James Date: March 2, 2003 at 23:13
why all the Hericane Alice expectations? Only 2 members from "Alice" are here and they are the bass player and drummer. If the singer also was from Hericane Alice I could see the expectations but these guys wouldn't shape the music style as much as if it were the singer and guitar player. this is a fair cd. Has some bright spots. I don't hate or love, it is just there to listen to now and then.

From: timmy Date: April 22, 2003 at 0:50
well, if you look on the credits the 2 guys from hericane alice are not performing on the record. they where hired in the band after the album was recorded so their is no hericane alice connection when it comes to the recording of this record.

Not as good as Hericane Alice. Hericane Alice was faster, heavier, and had a way better singer. Why didn't they just stick with him?

From: Scandinavia Date: June 8, 2003 at 12:35
Man, I'm disappointed...A good friend of mine gave me this album which I've been searching for for some time and I thought YEEES! My heart started pounding when I heard the first track but the rest of the album rocked me to sleep...This is truly a boring album! Avoid it at all costs! Ok, I might be overreacting here but if you like "Eat The Heat" you'll surely be disappointed...Lifeless effort as Dessler said..I agree! Only plus is "Angel in Black" which B.Choir didn't write...Hmmm

From: Scandinavia Date: June 8, 2003 at 12:39
Hi again...I just put it on again...Loaded Gun is an okay track...

From: izzy Date: June 9, 2003 at 16:14
I like this CD

From: Blue Tequila Date: June 21, 2003 at 8:55
I was looking forward to getting this one because I really liked Reece on vocals when he was with Accept. This album isn't bad but there just isn't anything that really stands out here. Also it may just be me but the songs all sound a litle "muddy" on the production side. Maybe a reach at the 6 bucks I paid but definitely not worth anything more than that.

From: Metal T Date: August 11, 2003 at 15:24
Bangalore Choir features ex-Accept singer 'David Reece as well as the former 'Hericane Alice rhythm section, and guitarist/instructor Curt Mitchell. This disc'On Target'is about as exciting as Accept Eat The Heat'(not very),I would rather watch paint dry.David Reece is a good singer, but needs to go into a heavier vein of metal. The one positive about this disc is the coverart the girl is a Fox !

From: Legend Date: August 19, 2003 at 15:34
One of the best melodic rock albums ever made. Everything from the lead singer powerful voice to the pure guitar sound and the soaring chorures is awesome. Pure hard rock attitude and a must have. The sleeve is pathetic, this album deserves much more (the back sleeve is very cool in contrast) Un al´bum para entender lo q significa el hard rock. javirm@acuralegend.com

From: Carlomagno Date: September 23, 2003 at 20:00
Just heard this record and I Think It´s not bad at all, very melodic, The opener is excellent and David Reece got an amazing voice, asolid 80/100

From: Scandinavia Date: October 7, 2003 at 7:56
It just seems to lack diversity both musically & in the mix...If you compare this effort to their contemporaries such as Firehouse etc. B. Choir don't even go half the way...A shame since it's a pretty cool line up...

From: gonchaloperu Date: October 30, 2003 at 21:07
si los buenos murieran jovenes moririan felices escuchando este disco, no se que paso con david reece si tenia una voz prodigiosa, este disco es uno de mis favoritos , destacan if the good die.. temon, hold on to you, ojala en un futuro volvamos a escuchar su voz en algun proyecto.

Hell I kinda like this. I've had the MP3's floatin' around on my HD forever and I finally took a listen, and it's not too bad at all. I wouldn't say it's lifeless like some of the other comments, but it is lacking in the rough edges department no doubt. Good musicians with a very nice production, worth having if you don't have to pay too much...

From: Steven Ertelt Date: December 14, 2003 at 17:26
I don't get the bad reviews on this CD. This is medloic hard rock at its best with a good David Coverdale-ish singer, great guitars, and a tight rhythm section. Hold On to You is a classic power ballade and song like Angel in Black, Loaded Gun and Freight Train Rollin are awesome. I give it an 8/10.

From: Scandinavia Date: December 17, 2003 at 13:12
As I hear it this one lacks the effectious hooks which are present on most other commercial hardrock albums of that time...It becomes a mediocre affair although it's an interesting line up...

From: Scandinavia Date: December 27, 2003 at 20:31
Just dusted this one of again...Man, "Angel In Black" is one helluva track!!! But of course they didn't write it...Hehe..

From: Jayglam@hotmail Date: December 29, 2003 at 2:07
Great cd, David Reece is a vocal god in the coverdale style. Features 2 guys from Hericane Alice another cool band. The cd gets better with every song with the Last track just one night being the standout track. Very consistent, all songs are very good, underated band. One of the better cd covers as well. Jay from Australia.

Triste, muy triste que uno no pueda ir a una tienda y comprerse esta super joya casi imposible de conseguir... por Dios David Reece.... que bueno... A un disco magistral, un 10/10...

From: SHOOTO Date: January 11, 2004 at 13:35

From: MIKE S Date: February 11, 2004 at 13:52
Seems to be a split decision on this one - lots of positive AND negative comments. I would say average at best for this one - "Angel In Black" IS the standout track here - generic & mediocre after that. I couldn't listen to this all the way through without skipping forward at least twice after the 1st track. David Reece fit better on ACCEPTs ridiculous attempt at commercial success "Eat The Heat", but that is their WORST album by far which should tell you something about this release...5/10

Well sure, but there's cleavage on the cover...

From: emi Date: March 8, 2004 at 15:54
muy bueno, pero me quedo con eat the heat, escuchar a David reece es un privilegio

From: Rycheage Date: March 10, 2004 at 23:51
Predictably the album did nothing and the band split almost instantly. The worst thing for Bangalore Choir was their timing. After 1991 any hard rock band signed to a major was doomed to suffer a backlash, the Choir instead just suffering from the decline of a genre, hardly their fault, although they did seem about two or three years out of date. Don't feel you are missing anything, just bore yourself senseless instead with Whitesnake's 'Slip Of The Tongue'.

From: jessica96fish Date: April 11, 2004 at 9:14
well i love this one.if your into stuff like gunshy melidian and tangier.then i think you'll like this one.and its cheap.

From: Dave Cohen Date: April 22, 2004 at 2:47
This is one of the most unsung hard rock albums of all time. There are some killer tracks. I bought this CD about 10 years ago for a buck, and it's still one of my most played CD's in my collection.

From: Joss Date: April 24, 2004 at 14:26
Es uno de los mejores discos que escuchado de Hard rock que destaca por su prodigiosa voz de David Reece lastima que ya no pudieron sacar mas discos.Destaca "Freight train Rollin"

From: Geoff Date: June 4, 2004 at 3:15
A few things I don't understand thus far, both of which have been pointed out. Why all the bad reviews? Sure this album is as unoriginal as it gets, but the fact remains that there are 9 out of 10 (The only song I don't like is 'Doin' the dance') absolute killer commercial/melodic hard rock songs here. What's the problem?! Awesome album. I don't get the Herricane Alice comparisons too. Sure, the 2 guys were in the band, why now call it another Accept record? Strange. New band, new (great)songs.

From: jeff Date: June 7, 2004 at 16:02
hericane alice , only have the drummer and bass player . no david or the guitar players.

From: jeff Date: June 7, 2004 at 16:04
but this is one of the best hard rock cds noone knows about. good die young was written by jon bon jovi.

From: Blue Tequila Date: June 7, 2004 at 16:35
I agree that that Hericane Alice and Bangalore Choir should not be compared to each other because they sound nothing alike. As for this album, I gotta say it has really grown on me. Every couple of weeks I give it a spin and it just keeps sounding better, even the track "Doin' the Dance" (I wouldn't kick her out of my bed) which I could not stand when I first heard it. David Reece has a great voice, too bad he didn't have more success.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 12, 2004 at 23:09
Is there any type of wonder why this music lost mainstream interest when this generic stuff was released. The Autograph cover is good as is Loaded Gun, but the rest of the album goes in one ear and out the other. 4/10

i think this is a great album of Hard Rock, Bangalore Choir does have a PUNCH to them and should NOT be ignored! David Reece is one of the best hard rock singers out there and should have gotten MORE success, i'm just wondering where he is now?? i've listned to Hericane Alice and Bangalore Choir and they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!!

From: Marla Date: August 17, 2004 at 10:20
Hmmm....glad I didn't read the comments here before I gave this one a listen. With all the Coverdale references, I would have taken a pass. BUT....I'm glad I did. The song "Hold On To You" is just beautiful!!! "Angel In Black" is GREAT as well.

From: Chevalier Date: August 18, 2004 at 7:03
Great melodic rock. The comparison to Coverdale's voice are right actually. The singer might rimind you of Coverdale most of the times....still,that doesn't make the album so similar to any whitesnake release. Some great tracks like the opening track or "She can stop","just one night" is just a hit...at least it could have been.Too bad they never got the attention they deserved.Good musicians and very well produced too....as a matter of fact Max Norman and James Barton are behind it.Get it!

From: Border Rat Date: October 23, 2004 at 15:06
From the opener angel in black to the last track just one night this is one really pleasant listening experience. There is not one bad song on here.Hold on to you is a super ballad. All or nothin' really rocks out and is the fastest track. If the good die young & loaded gun are other favourites. The vocalist reminds me of David Coverdale. If you like Whitesnake material you will think you have died and gone to melodic rock heaven when you hear this.

From: Scott Date: October 25, 2004 at 9:14
If you guys like this album you must check out Sircle of Silence, who also feature David Reece on lead vocals. However, SoS also features guitar shredder Larry Farkas formerly of Vengeance Rising and Die Happy. SoS released to fabulous CDs.

From: Paolo Date: December 4, 2004 at 11:51
Anyway I can't understand why the most of you consider this an average record...I like every track from beginning to end....sometimes paying attention to previous reviews can be misleading on this site...there's no fillers here but david's voice makes the difference IMO,and the production too...fortunately I read a review from an italian site before discovering this gem...border rat you're perfectly right!!!!

From: Rocker76 Date: January 7, 2005 at 6:25
Nothing new here, but then again nothing bad either. "Angel in Black" and "She Can't Stop" highlight this album of quintessential early 90s hair metal. As usual, good production by vet Max Norman. Definitely recommended for fans of the genre.

From: tomcat Date: January 7, 2005 at 8:27
cool video for "love's like a loaded gun", especially the chick..anyhowz, this is an ok album but i prefered hericane alice but most of all "sirce of silence", boy did they rock..David reece is a cool rockvocalist, too bad nothing more comes from him..or am i wrong.?.

From: z4roxx Date: January 7, 2005 at 11:27
ahahahaha nothing new??hey Rocker76,that's a 1992 release,not 2004 release!Great hair melodic metal,for me a mix between danger danger and whitesnake,that's a masterpiece!!Highly recommended to all!!!10/10

From: Rocker76 Date: January 7, 2005 at 17:28
Not quite sure what z4roxx means about it being a '92 release and not a 2004 release but I hope it was obvious that I also like the album. That was my point.

From: z4roxx Date: January 10, 2005 at 20:58
I've sayed that you can t say"nothin'new"about a 1992 release, that's all.Sorry but my English is not very good,it's very difficult for me explain these things in a language different from italian.I know that you like that cd,but for me it's an original and AWESOME release for 1992!!!Regards

From: BOLIN44 Date: March 1, 2005 at 3:46
Why don't people just listen for what it is! Why all the comparisons? So what about Hericane Alice and David's previous band Accept. 2 different bands with diffrerent styles! David actually sings REAL well on this CD. A departure from Accept. True, Reece has Coverdale similarities. Basically, the songs are good if you just listen without prejudice. I like both Bangalore and Hericane Alice. By all means own'em both!! I have both. I still listen from time to time. Underrated and deserves a shot!

From: BIG-TIME Date: April 14, 2005 at 15:39
WOW this CD FUCKING Rock's Great Vocal's, Great Songs, they may not stick with you but I enjoyed every minute, learn the words and sing along and you will enjoy yourself so much more. Track 3 is AWESOME "IF THE GOOD DIE YOUNG" you could get your lighters out and do what comes natural. And for people comparing this band to others SHUT THE FUCK UP AND JUST LISTERN, why do people always compare bands to other bands, people that do that are not ROCK fan's.

From: BIG-TIME Date: April 14, 2005 at 15:43
Its 'this band don't sound better than this band, and that band, blah, blah, blah...listern to it for what it is...HARD ROCK!!! WOW these guys are good, anyone know if there is another album by these my mate said they have more but I cannot find them. And what is this shit about being out of date no rock is out of date look what we have today SHITNOT, MANSON, and all that other CRAP. ROCK FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Lennie Date: April 18, 2005 at 15:50
Only 2 fillers here (tracks 4 - some dodgy thing by Bon Jovi, and 8) apart from that this good quality hard rock with a killer vocal from D Reece (Coverdale comparisons are close but not quite).

From: Dreamaholic Date: June 1, 2005 at 5:53
Except for Angel in Black (which isn't even theirs) this CD is LAME!!! Just because you can play an instrument or sing doesn't mean you can write a good song and that is readily apparent here. Good songwriting will you have walking around singing the song, learning the words and where the hooks are, and that never happens with this disc. There are lots of better albums on this site...just keep looking.

Great CD, I gave it a 10 and I don't give out too many 10's. I love almost every song on this CD, but my faves are "All or Nothin" and "Just One Night". Killer tunes, great sound, hard melodic rock as it should sound, too bad they didn't do too much more than this.

Why all the hate for this?? Outstanding hard rock released in a year which unfortunately overlooked it. As said several times, vocalist David Reece has that David Coverdale sound, which is cool in my view. I see some dislike for the track 'Doin' the Dance'....??? killer song, great chorus, even better lyrics. Great stuff. Standout tracks - 'Angel In Black', 'Hold On To You', 'If The Good Die Young' 'Doin' The Dance'. Get this album NOW.

Good Hard Rock/Melodic album, el cantante es muy bueno similar al timbre de voz de David Coverdale incluso muchos temas se parecen a los Whitesnake, ahora que hay cortes buenos(no hay ninguno que sea de gran nivel o que sobregalga de los demas) los hay Just One Night, Angel in Black, Slippin' Away, She Can't Stop, Loaded Gun, If the Good Die Young 6 buenos cortes lo mejor del disco, pero hay 2 temas que IMO bajan el disco por ser muy del monton me refiero a los temas 4 y 9 muy malos.

Man, I can't understand this cd does not get better ratings than an average of 8.50. To me, this is a solid 10/10! David's singing on this one is just awesome, stone-tight rhythm section, killer guitars and a great production. Songs like Angel in black, If the good die young, Just one night, All or nothing and She can't stop are fantastic songs, whole disc is great - no fillers imo. This cd is defining powerful melodic rock with a great punch, highly recommended if you like guitar-based AOR.

Not a bad release, just a little too pop for me.The band is really good and so is the singing, Max Norman does a good job producing this...compared to todays crap, this is really good.I find the song structures a bit weak....But that was how it was then...7/10.

Thought I'd leave a remark for this one after the recent topic on the forum. This is a pretty good release from these guys. You got ex-Cold Sweat members, ex-Razormaid members and David Reece on vocals. I am surprised to see all the negative responses for this one. Sure it's not stellar material, but it didn't suck donkey balls either. It was a decent hard rock album.

I was amazed by this album. I had it for a long time but never listen to it. The moment it started to play was like a blast of hard "fuck**" rock. Not the best one but certainly a keeper! 7.5/10. Best tunes 1/2/6/7/10.

Bastante bueno ehh HardRock melódico y potente a la vez, La voz sin dudas recuerda por momentos al God DC o a JJS/Jorn Lande. Temazos como "Loaded Gun" con unos corazos contagiosos, la riffera "All or Nothin'"(JSS), "Slippin' Away"(HR Melódico a lo Millenium/Jorn Lande) o "She Can't Stop" mis favoritas. Las Power Ballads "If the Good Die Young.." y la bonita "Hold on to You" de lo mejor. Súper-Recomendado. 8.8/10

Saw Bangalore open for Lynch Mob in Mexico. Bands line up had original bassist Dan Greenburg and newly hired drummer Darek Thomas Cava who perform on this record. They where f*&king amazing live! They released the album with the bass player and drummer from Hericane Alice on the cover art, that was odd to me. Different sound when i saw them on TV, yuk. I think Dan and Darek may have dodged a bullet leaving the band when they did. Album's artwork is a joke. The band looks like they're in Drag!

This album is GREAT! Far better than Herricane Alice which had only two songs worth. But there's no need for a comparison since they play in a very different style! BC are far too melodic and commercial compared to HA. Tracks 1,2,3,6 of On target are melodic hard rock gems! David Reece is a GREAT singer, wish there were many more like him. He is far better than Udo, yet the Udo albums of Accept are far better than the crappy Eat the heat. David is back in business having just released an album with Swedish band Gypsy Rose. I must also add that David's voice sounds great both on melodic as on heavy stuff. He could be a great metal singer, he was actually in metal bands in his early demo years (Sacred Child, Dareforce).

This is one album/band that I was so fortunate to have discovered. I don't think I go a day without listening to at least one song here. Every track is superb, and there's not many albums I feel that way about. Huge melodic choruses, which is just the way I like my rock. Check it out!

Check out their new staff. It's an awesome "Cadence' album - more mature and heavier than debut, yet very melodic. They still know how to rock.

this is a hair metal masterpiece, hard rockin music at its best.david reece s singing is fantastic, the musicianship excellent (ex hericane alice rhythm section),the songwriting amazing (steve plunkett, jon bon jovi) and max norman in production delivers the goods.all the songs are top notch and especially "just one night".killer release!

The years have been kind to this and it truly shines for anyone wanting to look back at the pinnacle of the genre without the need for big name bands. A jewel that should have been discovered when first released, granted it was a few years late. David Reece is the voice at his best (although I do fancy his first Sircle of Silence as much), beautifully delivering these songs. There's not much to fault, even in its day Dance was a bit too Jovi strong due no doubt to his co-write but otherwise the whole thing delivers. Take nothing from Angel in Black being a ring in as the band truly make it their own, Loaded Gun may be typical of the day but it's super strong, and from track 6 thru to the album close it is nothing short of class material. Freight Train rolls heavy and is my personal fave as is the meaty All or Nothin, Slipping away a fine lesson in melody and closer One Night is sublime. Regularly return to this classic of the genre, much praise! I recommend the remaster! Rating 90+%

One of my all time favorites, from start to finish it's Awesome! Crunchy guitars & solos, great backing vocals in the sing along choruses & great lead vocals! I come back to this over & over again, I think more than any other cd. I recommend highly!

I have to agree with Mediaab, Wardy, the rocker and Geoff. Just a perfect classy melodic rock album with a nice punch! All songs rock, and the production is first rate. The drums sound just stunning, so crisp. And by now, we all know who this amazing rhythm section on the album really is: Danny Greenberg - bass, and Darek Thomas Cava - drums. Ian Mayo and Jackie Ramos (from Hericane Alice) were never involved in the recording, but played live with the band. Very nice riffs and solos, really good production - crisp is the word, and Reece's vocals is simply stunning - passion, real power singing, range, everything you'd want in a lead singer in this type of band. I also come back to this disc over and over again, it has aged well I must say. Unfortunately 1992 was indeed a few years late. For me, it is one of the perfect albums of its era, 100/100. Highly recommended!

Kind of a "classic album" but far from being a masterpiece IMO...just some good hard rocking tracks backed by with a great voice that Mr Reece has...my faves are "Angel In Black"(wonder how that song would have sounded with Autograph itself),"Loaded Gun","All Or Nothin'","Slippin' Away","She Can't Stop" and the nice AORish "Just One Night"...the band has reunited and are playing alive and well nowadays...86/100

From: CC Date: February 25, 2013 at 11:48
Rick, if you want to hear how Angel in black would have sounded with Autograph, you need to pick up the Missing pieces album by them.

Hey CC thanks for that info,in fact those "Missing Pieces" albums by Autograph(i believe there are 2 of them)are the ones from Autograph that i am actually...missing to have!!! cheers mate!!!

The 2010 remaster by Martin Kronlund, on AOR Heaven, is really worth its price. Perfect from the start 1992, this remaster just adds an extra punch, professionally done (unlike several other so called remasters where a simple loudness-effect is used for no good, reducing vocals and guitars and other major mid-spectrum sounds). It's funny when so called wise asses/messerschmidts try to hear Hericane Alice influences in this album, just shows they're dicks. This reissue put that subject aside, making it clear Greenberg and Cava laid down all tracks for the bass and drums. I believe this album has stood the test of time, with or without a tasty set of boobs on the front cover and is worth a fat ass 10 out of 10 Reece screams. Amazing album, all songs. All or nothin' is for every rocker, Just one night melodic bliss, and Freight train rollin' (a fave of David's) is groovy as hell. Open up a beer and crank it up!

From: edwithmj Date: August 2, 2015 at 9:12
A little bit better than Hericane Alice (the bassist and drummer's previous band) but seems to taper off after the halfway mark. Angel in Black is an explosive rocker which was actually an Autograph throwaway; Loaded Gun is probably my favourite song on here - the vocals are super and the song builds up to its chorus nicely which is wonderfully catchy. If The Good Die Young is an OK ballad which is litenable but doesn't make me come back to it. Doin' The Dance is the first piece of filler which has ridiculous lyrics and a slight funk feel to it I think while Hold On To You is a sappy, repetitive ballad rescued by the melodic solo in the middle. Slippin' Away and She Can't Stop are two more average songs saved again by great solos in the middle. The rest is just forgettable I think. Decent, but far from a masterpiece. 7/10
