There are still the odd comparisons to VH and there is still plenty of funky moments a la Extreme. But it is a heavier and more serious tone in play here and unfortunately many of the songs sound the same. There is a worrying lack of good hooks through the album.

This is a cool album. Though not as good as the debut 'The First'.

La verdad es que sólo hay un par de temas valiosos, pero hay que reconocer que el guitarrista es muy bueno. Only 2 tracks are worthy, but the guitar player is very skilled.

An album with a monster hard rocking sound and great production, but with only a handful of songs that stand out or beg for more. The remaining songs leave no real impression, rather they blend into each other by offering no hooks and much the same sound on each.

The band were accused of not having enough variety on their first cd.When they made a cd with a lot of good variety they have been slagged off unfairly.I like a lot of songs on this cd.Great vocals and great guitar playing.Pangea cds need quite a few spins in your cd player before you can really fully appreciate their music. This is an underrated band.

Oh, if not for the filler I'd label these guys a classic band of the future. Their good songs are simply AMAZING! If you can listen to gems like 'She's like a steamtrain', or the beautiful 'Lost in you', the simply stunningly brilliant 'I thought I knew' (Melodic bliss!!!), the lovely 'Sound of music', the massive, killer 'I'm falling for you' and the ultra melodic 'Do ya know' and call them anything less than brilliant... well, you're a harsher person than me. Truly brilliant CD and band! 9/10

ES UN GRUPO CON UN SONIDO A LO VAN HALEN PERO A LA VEZ CONSERVA EL SONIDO EUROPEO. TIENE MUY BUENAS CANCIONES COMO LA 3,4,5,8,11, EXCELENTES Y MASIVOS COROS,UN GUITARRISTA A LO EDDIE Y NUNNO BETENCOURT MEZCLADO CON PETE LESPERANCE Y ADEMAS CON BUENA PRODUCCION.

Excelente disco al igual que el "the first", del mismo palo como se dice. Estilo claramente influenciado por Extreme y Van Halen. Brillante producción, buen cantante y muy buenos riffs. Mis favoritas son "lost in you", "i thought i knew", la tranquila "the sound of music" y ese excelente final llamado "do you know". Gran disco. 9/10

No enuf hooks ? Not catchy enuf ? LOL a more inacurate description for this band / cd couldnot have been written. Forget all that. This is like Geoff wrote: Truly brilliant CD and band! Man these songs are cachty as hell and killer chorusses. Yeah and the man has such a great voice ( now Mysterel ). This band , as a lot more, should have been huge. Two absolute killer cd's. 9,1/10
