If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Moon'Doc CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Moon'Doc are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is some very powerful & aggressive melodic metal. Take the in-your-face style of early Skid Row, crank everything up a few more notches, and you've got a good idea of the sound MOONDOC is aiming for. Herman Frank handles the guitars and they are simply monstrous, ripping off one killer riff after another, while vocalist Chris Bay pours on the pissed-off attitude. If you like your melodic metal with a very hard & heavy edge, then this band will make you howl with happiness. Great stuff.

I agree with the above dude. Top notch playing with attitude. Great powerful rock and the vocals are not hard on the ears.

This is a good band. It does remind me of Victory in terms of some awesome riffs and some damn fine songs, but overall I guess they don't have quite the massie choruses and hooks that Victory CDs are home to. If you like big riffs and good hard rock songs, check it out. Reminds me more of 'Instinct' album Victory than of prime Victory, but still good nonetheless.

Great melodic metal band. Vocally, they remind me of early Skid Row. Chris Bay definately wails away on these tracks. He doesn't have a scratchy raspy voice, it's very clean and clear. The music seems to have that power, attitude, aggressiveness or whatever you want to call it. Yeah, this is must have in my book.

I was at the cafe in Hannover and talked to Herman before he formed this band.He asked me how to say "faith" in Japanese as he had an idea to use Japanese for his upcoming band and I answered. Why he did not pick it up and named his band Moon'Doc? "Faith" in Japanese is "Sinnen".Now you know why he did not use it as it's too close to "Sinner" in sound that he once was in a member.

Quality stuff! Frank's fretwork as M.Allen stated is indeed "monstrous".
