If you notice that a particular Tarmat CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Tarmat are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Tarmat's "Out of the Blue" is one of the weaker debuts I've heard within the last year. Alexandre Daumerie has an interesting voice, but the songwriting is seriously lacking. "Backbone Feeling" is about as uninteresting an opener as you can get, and many of the remaining tracks are lite AOR of the slowest variety, occasionally crossing the threshold into bluesy soft rock territory. The uptempo "Rosetta Stone" is probably the best song on the album with the only thing resembling a catchy chorus, but again, we're not talking about anything special. If you're specifically looking for something quiet and sedating, Tarmat may interest you, but everyone else will do well to avoid this one. |
