| Great band and album in the Skid Row meets Pantera style of hard rock and metal added with some in your face guitar riff-a-rama ala Zakk Wylde. Songs like Save Me, Can You Hear the Rain, and Jeckyl & Hyde are very much worthy. While the cover of Kiss War Machine also has quite an attitude about it. Sadly their next album went more modern which ended with the guitarist and main guitarist quitting the band when existing members wanted to do the Korn bandwagon nu-metal thang. | Sadly their next album went more modern which ended with the guitarist and main songwriter Steve quitting the band when existing members wanted to do the Korn bandwagon nu-metal thang. Guitarist went on to form new Australian power metal band Kymera also featuring ex members of Pegazus and Catwitch. Steve also has a pop styled band called 40 Alexander who went on to become Square One who supported Steve Vai around Australia.

| i really enjoyed this cd ..at times was alot like skid row / slave 2 the grind era,,and also a kick ass rendition of Kiss's war machine..the lead vocalist was the splitting image of Bach at his peak..there 2nd effort Schlock was a little departure for the band but still worth having in the collection

| The production is as sharp as any international release, and the musicianship is as tight as it gets. Highlights are the opening face smasher 'Jeckyll And Hyde', the Neil Young cover 'Old Man', 'Broken Bones', 'Life Or Death'. There isn't a bad track on the album! So if you like them heavy, or like even a few to round out your collection, you couldn't find a finer release out there! Proof that Australia has a true metal band that can compete with the best of them.

| Good guitarist - shit singer - lousy songs. They were at their best when they first formed. After their first year, everything went down hill.

| cyclone tracy were one of melbourne's premiere hard rock outfits and ceratinly there's some substance to kiljoy's statement and to hear the band at their finest try and trackj down ' cobra club - volume 1 ' compilation feat their best track ' don't tell me what to do '. cyclone tracy i hear are no more after turning to a covers act. currently steve janevski is in power metal flavour of the year black majesty and 40 alexander are over or became square 1 with an amazing track !

| I think early Cyclone Tracy was fantastic. Guitarist is currently in a band called Black Majesty who just released an album in Europe and is still quite amazing to watch play the six string! Early Queensryche style. Must say I miss the days when Cyclone Tracy really kicked ass. They really turned to shit in the end but I still hold many great memories. Really the only band from Australia who had the true Skid Row in your face appeal and raunch.

| Just letting people know the Australian pressing of One Eyed was different to the US one with the addition of the song Old Man on the Oz version. Cyclone were a great band. Certainly one of the best in the hard rock style from Victoria in the 90s. Good to see Stevie in Black Majesty. More power metal but great guitar playing for sure.

| Though I'd love to support some home-grown music, I just couldn't get into this one. Very average hard rock / metal, IMO and although I guess the sound is almost similar to later Skid Row at times, these guys don't have any songs to match what Skid Row were capable of. Not awful, but pretty average metal, IMO.

| Pretty solid release from this Skid Row styled Aussie band. It's a pity this wasn't brought out in the late 80's, might have got them somewhere! Certainly the guitarist here is the main talent here, with some great riffs that border on Pantera! Jeckyll And Hyde, Save Me, That's Life and the kiss cover of War Machine are the highlights here! But i didn't think War Machine was on this album, i thought it was on their next one Schlock, which clearly wasn't as good! Old Man was on the Oz release! 8.

| Some killer guitars on this one, exploding like a heavy metal cyclone with big, powerful riffs that bring to mind latter-day Skid Row. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, the songs are nowhere near as good as the Skidsters, proof that attitude and aggression are not enough to get a band by unless they are in service to memorable tunes. When your best song is a cover ('War Machine') then you know you've done something wrong. Better than a sharp stick in the eye, but really nothing special.

| I don't get the fascination with this band....I cannot find any Skid Row type influences and at best the album in mediocre. Musically these guys have potential but it is defiently not reached on this album. I am not fond of the vocals on thsi particular disc and rate it a 6.0. Sorry in advance for those who saw the Skid Row correlation, just not finding it.
