2008 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive
April 4 - May 31, 2008.
It's been almost a year and a half since I held the last donation drive
for Heavy Harmonies. Roughly 5,500 visitors a day come here, viewing between
30,000 and 40,000 pages per day... which costs money. This infrequent donation
drive is what keeps the site free for everyone to use. So, please step up and
make a donation and win some prizes! Even if you
can only afford $5 or $10, every little bit helps!

Donors
Now that audio samples are back on the site, the bandwidth usage is going to
run amok. Rather than do the subscription thing again, I'm going to make
the sound clips available to everyone, and count on voluntary donations
to help with the costs. These are one-time donation links, not recurring
subscriptions (although stepping up to the plate and tossing a few bucks
every few months would be greatly appreciated)!
I use the word donate because it is strictly voluntary.
You don't have to shell out bux to access certain features of the
site, and no one monitors how often you use the site. None of
that crap. If you like it, send a buck or two to help out. :)
How Can I Donate?
Donations can be made using Visa and Mastercard via PayPal.
It's free and secure. PayPal is now available to people outside
of the U.S., so perhaps some of our overseas visitors can
help contribute. :) Just click on one of the links below to donate.
Levels of Donorship
This page is here to recognize those who have donated money
to help defray the costs of Heavy Harmonies over the last year or two. There are three
levels of support: Gold ($10 donation), Silver
($5 donation), and Bronze ($2 donation). The stars next
to each person's name indicate how often they have supported
the cause. The most recent donors are at the top of the list.
The date in parentheses is the last time each person donated.
If you don't donate every 6-8 months or so, you'll fall off the end
of the list and lose your accumulated stars.
