If you're only familiar with Ambrosia's softer side then you will be blown away by their hard rocking Road Island. I think Ambrosia is one of the most talented bands in the history of rock. Road Island is simply a masterpiece! Kid no more rocks like no other. Feelin' Alive Again, Fool Like Me, are two great power ballads. How Can You Love Me is the best rock song I've ever IMHO! Endings will leave you wanting more! Do yourself a favor if you like to rock, buy Ambrosia's Road Island! |

Opening track 'For Openers (Welcome Home)' is the most well known song off the album, and was not a hit, complimenting the heavier sound. The drums are thunderous, overshadowing some menacing riffs. Ambrosia took a bold step on their final album, pursuing a lumbering hard rock sound totally opposed to the gentle strains of the previous two albums. 'Road Island' was not what the public expected and fared poorly with the lack of a hit single, even though there were some available on the album. |

¿What is happening? ¿Why there are no comments about this masterpiece? It´s a Sin!!!.

And, C´mon, You have to leave more comments about this awesome record... I have only seen a very few comments about this one... How can that be possible??...

This is a fantastic AOR album. David Pack is an exceptional singer, song writer, guitar player. All musicians are of the highest caliber. You cannot go wrong with Ambrosia. This band is one of the best of all time. |

Check out the video for How Can You Love Me on youtube. Mr. Bruce Horsby on the keys. Anyone know if he toured with the band for awhile? What a fantastic tune!!! |

Cool album ..."Kid No More" is my fave track and the best cut of the release IMHO...some other fine moments are # tracks # 5,6 & 7...82/100 |

The intro sounds like an attempt to return to some Progressive sounds after a more commercial album; then it goes back to a more accessible sound around the half with How Can You Love Me being a high point. In the end I don't remember anything else about the album, except Endings being a great ending track. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: How Can You Love Me. |
