A great release which adds another guitarist...Emil Fredholm. Henrik & Emil trade off lead guitar solos on each track which adds to the interest to each. FORTUNE also put out another release called CALLING SPRITS in '94 which had the same line up as MAKING GOLD. All 3 releases are worth buying and adding to your collection. Melodic rock at it's best. |

F*ck, how lame am I? I never even knew this was the same band as 'Making gold' guys. This is far worse, and just standard heavy metal. I kept 'Making gold' but sold this one. I guess if you're a big metal fan give it a go, but I am happy to be rid of it. Very average songs, IMO. |

Pues mil veces prefiero su "Making Gold" esto poco tiene de Melodic Rock. La semi-Acústica "Fallen Angel" salva al disco. La 3,4 y la 7 las paso a duras penas. Paso. 6/10 |

I remember (vaguely though) seeing in Xero japan catalogue that Fortune had made a live record (live in japan ??) but i could never find the actual release. Anybody ever seen this release? |

For me this album is their best(a matter of tastes i believe)...some solid songs in the shape of "Intoxication","Black Circle","Daydreamer","Lord Of Flies" & "Fallen Angel"(AORish)...the japanese edition brings 3 bonus tracks and 2 of them are really worthy tunes as well...84/100 |

The band's third album, it's melodic metal mixed with power metal elements. There's a slightly heavier, more aggressive sound to this album having more balls than their previous. The sound is best described as a mix of RATT and MOTLEY CRUE with a slight melodic edge on this one. Includes vocalist Benny Soderberg (ex-Clockwise).This is first class rock and a must for your collection. |
