This is the best live act I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a lot. But D A M N does this cd suck. Somebody gave it a 6....I'll give it 3. . . . .. No 2. This band has so much to give, but this is NOT a cd for hard rockers. A V O I D.

From: Scandinavia Date: June 28, 2003 at 16:17
Damn! Please keep Heavyharmonies clean...This effoert doesn't belong here. This is modern day noise rock! Avoid at all costs! These guys are huge here in Denmark and I don't get it...Once they made hardrock hitsingles on end and they were actually pretty good & original but that's all over now. Believe me! You'll be very disappointed!

From: Motley Date: August 11, 2003 at 12:34
This is the most boring, yawning cd theyve ever made. Its only radio friendly boring shitty songs. DAD made their last great effort when they released Riskin it all....get this release of this page please!!

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: August 21, 2003 at 21:00
Good cd. Not as good as Everything Glows, but songs like the title track, Un Frappe Sur La Tete, and Between You and Me make this one recommendable.

From: Motley Date: August 24, 2003 at 16:11
Simply said, the most boring and worthless cd ever released in DK... They should listen to the best entertainment band ever in DK, Pretty Maids. At least they dont change style just to gain fans

From: Metal Pete Date: December 29, 2003 at 18:32
I guess 'Everything Glows' took it all out of them. This is worthless chit. I still like them, but 'No Fuel' and 'Riskin'this sure ain't. I think even King Kobra's miserable 'Thrill of a lifetime' rocked harder than this...ugh. Come on Jesper, go listen to 'Riskin it all' a few hundred more times before you record again please!

From: Metal Pete Date: January 2, 2004 at 12:52
Only the title cut is listenable. I have been scared to play it since the first attempt. I am afraid I will wake up without testicles.

From: Romi Date: January 19, 2004 at 11:18
Hey guys, fuck to all who does not like this CD!!! It's perfect, it's even more better, than their classical No Fuel Left For Pilgrims and Rskin' It All!!! This album is brilliant!!! Highly recommended! My favs are What's The Matter? and Out There. My rating is 9,5 / 10.

From: Great Dane Date: January 19, 2004 at 14:51
Romi. FY Too. It suxx.

D-A-D have released a really worthwhile album for those who just like simple, independent rock'n'roll with full flavor and no bullshit. Four musicians playing what they want without the need for overblown technicalities or computerised processes. D-A-D has again delivered the goods. The sound is not the same as those old days. Soft Dogs is not the heavier kind we're used to on previous albums. In fact, this is probably D-A-D's softest album to date.

From: Scandinavia Date: July 18, 2004 at 15:52
Nowadays D.A.D are B.A.D.!! :-)

From: Hairfarmer Date: August 19, 2004 at 6:57
This CD BLOWS - very dissapointed - I think the boys were on PROZAC - Soft Dogs is Exactly what you get - Soft, Boring, NO BITE - HF

From: Bobby De Date: June 9, 2005 at 4:01
Havent and most important WONT hear it!, the last two were so, so, well words cant describe it.....but fearing these comments from hardcore 80s metal lovers, im staying far from this too.....To bad cuase it would be nice to have one descent decade in a long long dark while.

From: Geoff Date: September 9, 2005 at 1:55
I'm really surprised at the harsh words above. I don't know what more a fan of DAD would expect than what is on here. This is a good disc compared to others they've released. The title track and 'The truth about you' are great, as are tracks 6-9. Once again, cool hard rockers with a modern edge and very good choruses. The rest is absolute shit, but DAD NEVER released more than half a good album, so why start now? Good stuff for what I expected...and even better than what I expected to be honest.

From: sluss528 Date: March 10, 2006 at 19:37
hey, you yea hoos dont get it! this is a good melodic rock cd period!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 8, 2007 at 11:35
This is labeled Hard Rock but is there any?.This album could have easyly been recorded by Enuff'Nuff ten times better!!!.Don't spect any headbangin' or sort a similar dance.5/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 9, 2011 at 22:56
Ummm...after a couple of spins more, i've realized that this album has something to offer actually...pretty close or influenced by Enuff Z'nuff as i wrote way back in 2007(not as good as the americans though)but at the end is quite digestible too ..."Soft Dogs" has some AORish/alternative feel and is far the best one along with "Out There"...some other goodies are "The Truth About You","Between You And Me" & "Un Frappe Sur La Tete"(sorry about my ignorance but what the hell is does this mean??? )...anyway,a good album...80/100

From: dany69 Date: August 14, 2016 at 20:10
