I've known Lance King for many years since his Gemini days. He's outdone himself on this cd!!! I heard the first Balance of Power cd without Lance on vocals. The music rocked, but the vocalist sucked major ass. Lance is a much needed voice for a band this caliber and with this talant. Awesome guitars and melodies, great lyrics and hooks. The entire cd rocks! Very similar to Queensryche and Dream Theater. Check out Lance's other bands Gemini and The Kings Machine too. |

This CD is top notch. The songs absolutely rock from beginning to end but especially the title track. Lance King is a welcome breath of fresh air. His vocals are temendous!! Highly recommend this disc. |

I agree that this a great cd. With some members from "Vandamne" it totally rocks. BALANCE OF POWER blows Queensryche and Dream Theater out of the water to the max!!!! |

Why does the Giant album III have the exact same picture on the cover (apart from Giant have a small statue at the very front)? Anyone else noticed that? Check it out on the Giant page. Chuck Wright the bass player from House of Lords did the Giant cover. I wonder who did this one? and I wonder if he's seen the Giant cover? This one is from two years before the Giant one as well. |

Balance of Power have announced that they have parted company with vocalist Lance King. The band has since engaged a new and internationally known lead singer and when the legal details are finalised a further press release will be issued. Details will also be given regarding the band's new record label in the USA once contracts are signed. |

No tan bueno como el "Book of secrets" y es más progresivo para mi gusto, buenos cambios, melodías y excelente producción, ciertamente comparables a unos Dream Theater o Queensrÿche. "Under the Spell" es un gran tema y mi favorita del album. Buen disco. 8/10 |

Fantastic hard rock album with the incomparable Lance King on vocals. If you like hard rock then this is for you. Make no mistake, this totally rocks from beginning to end. The title track, "Day Breaker" and "Prisoner Of Pride" are awesome. The comparisons to Queensryche are spot on. You will not be disappointed with this. |

Hard Rock with Prog moves and some AOR in it(this is the appropiate adjective to describe this album)...best tracks for me are "Under The Spell","Blind Man","Sins Of The World" & "The Darker Side"(nice)...84/100 |
