| If you liked the first one there is no reason you won't like this one. Same line with the crazy lyrics of tales of sex and rock and roll. My only observation would be that they even stepped up the musicianship (imagine the first one was superb). There is not much to say it is Steel Panther. They are here to entertain and make our day just a bit hilarious. Gotta love that cover!!!!

| Like I've stated on the message board, AWESOME CD music and melody wise the lyrics not so much. Every ones opinion is different, but everyone seems to like it one way or another.

| Im entertained by these guys, your not going to find as many quickly grabbing songs as you did on FTS, but once you spin it a few times, you pick up on songs here and there, but the one track, that totally destroys anything on this album, or on Feel The Steel, is Just Like Tiger Woods! GOD!! What a fucking guitar riff, even if you don't plan on getting or listening to this, you must somehow find a way to check out the Tiger Woods Riff, it's fcking HUGE!!!

| Leykis101- Is that chick magnet(fat sleeze-geezer) now hosting a radio food show your handle hero? I agree that 'Just like Tiger Woods' stands leaps and XXX bounds above anything else this band has done. The lyrics by Porn Panther standards are subtle(bearable) and worth a chuckle, with every golf innuendo in the book. Michael Star aka Ralph Saenz who's only other straight singing albums where the unimpressive L.A. Guns Wasted,Tracy Guns (solo) and Mitch Perry(7% Solution). Unless this is a editing spoof, according to wiki Saenz has a PhD in English literature at Berkeley, and was a former Assistant Professor of English Literature. If true his mother is saying to herself 'Where did I go wrong'. IMO Saenz's calling was doing a dead-on vintage DLR in the VH tribute band 'Atomic Punks'. For a dude in his mid 40's this Schlong Shtick has to be getting old, I know it has for me.(Atomic Punks w/ Michael Anthony sounds better then the current VH) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eMJ3oNDLjw

| What does it say about our music, when its most visible, non-vintage practitioners are a novelty band with over-the-top lyrics? My college roommate used to have a ton of dirty-joke songs on his computer that he rotated endlessly. Had songs like "It Won't Suck Itself," "If You Really, Really Loved Me," and "Weenie Ride" been around at the time, I'm sure they would've fit right in. Yeah, the tunes are well-written, compared to most other dirty-joke songs out there. The music is at least as important as the lyrics in Steel Panthe's case. And I'm not one of these people that demands meaningful lyrics in everything I listen to, don't get me wrong. But "Just Like Tiger Woods" is a good riff wasted on a song that's nothing more than topical morning-zoo filler material. Music that appeals to drunk college kids. It's okay. Production is really great, no question. But for my ears, I think Big Cock have better songs.

| Hey MetalllianStallion, do you mean the fat sleaze-geezer who's being paid 6 digits to do a 3 hour cooking show 1 day a week, while multimedia conglomerate Infinity, sinks close to a mill, into the launching of The Tom Leykis Show in less then 6 months, genius business man, and highly intelligent human being(who happens to be a pervert)Tom Leykis(Leykis101)happens to be my handle, yes, cause i wanted to answer your question accurately, yes I still think this is a highly funny, but very well played attempt at 4th grade potty humor, if you like it, listen to it, if you don't, don't! how hard is that, either way they are one of the greatest live acts Ive ever seen in my life, and Ive seen a few concerts, regardless what anyone thinks, if you can pull it off live, and impress me, you have a fan forever!!

Two albums so far released by SP and both of major impact(even though the debut is somehow better)...still using the same scheme of funny lyrics and funny stage presence  ..."Supersonic Sex Machine"(rocks!),"17 Girls In A Row","It Won't Suck Itself","Why Can't You Trust Me"(nice rocking mid tempo),"Gold Digging Whore" & "Weenie Ride"(nice softy) are my faves...enjoyable...88/100

| My initial thoughts were it's not as good as the debut. There are more fillers on this but the good tracks are just as enjoyable. Favourite tracks are "Just like Tiger Woods", "17 girls in a row", "It won't suck itself", "Critter" & the excellent "Let me cum in". Not much change lyrically from the debut & just when I start to think it's getting a bit samey they throw in a line that has me chuckling. Anyway give a song about shagging over one about how crap life is any day.

| I always thought Steel Panther songs should be the soundtrack to the Eastbound & Down comedy series. I reckon Kenny Powers would love this stuff! This humour is a guilty pleasure of mine, as is the whole genre of hair metal... Why fans of this genre hate dudes poking gentle fun of it makes me shake my head in wonder! You gotta be able to laugh at yourselves mate. :-)

| The big thematic difference between Steel Panther and the oft-compared Spinal Tap is this: Steel Panther are doing a loving tribute to hair-metal, while Spinal Tap was created by people who had great disdain for the music. The stated intent of the movie, and The Decline of Western Civilization Part II as well, was to show how ridiculous metal is. People can take what they want away from those ovies, but the creators of both have gone on record saying theydidn't like metal, and wanted to make it look bad (and for the most part succeeded).

| Doghouse Reilly, you are right, they paying their respects to the music that they love yet at the same time are making fun of it. "I Like Drugs" is a great song too especially when the guy goes I got a 5150 on a 2112. That cracks me up every time I hear that.
