| It's official, HEAT has officially jumped the shark. The band should have named this album after track #3 (Shit City) to let you know the Spinal Tap-estry of shit Sandwiches that your ears are about to swallow.I don't mind some of the band's previous releases but I have never warmed to Gronwall's vocals who sounds/looks like a boy band member trying to sing hard rock. The track ‘Time On Our Side’ is pure pop rock. Even harder edge tracks "Bastard of Society" sound limp, with new kids on the block doing background gang vocals (hanging tough). The singer is a former Sweden version of American Idol contestant, so I guess it makes sense. "Redefined" & "Time On Our Side" could be heard in any dance club or American Idol show. @masmusic - curious since this album came out on 9/21/17 how do you give your PERFECTION review with no release? Samples?, you're better than that my chop stick friend, 10/100 for the funky electronica beats on "Do you want it". My answer is a BIG NO!! | |

| i m a very big fan of heat.metallian listen to "freedom rock" their second realise it s an atomic bomb.so i ve order this cd closed eyes in japan.for the first time a heat record s for me is a deception.i m agree with metallian ,this record sound modern and strange.it s a mix of pop rock, a little hard, a little psychadelic.hopefully we have some guitar solos cause the question is:did heat always a hard rock band? the magnificent and very catchy hard f m of their first album is far far away.for sure this record will be much debated.some people will scream to a genius album ,others like metallian and me will be very sceptic and absoluty not hooked by this weird realise. | |

| Just not for me aside from a few songs. I'm just not big on change/moving forward stuff. Blind Leads The Blind, Bastard Of Society, Shit City are the 3 that would have fit on TDTW. There a couple others that I can "listen" to but this is NOT the same band that gave us ATN. Just my feelings/thoughts. | |

| The album sounds more mature and modern than the previous ones. It may disappoint old fans a bit, just as it may attract new ones. I found the album the less vibrant of them all, even having a magnificent production. | |

| Very good album, easily in my Top 10 for 2017. Unfortunately not as good as previous ones. It's pleasant but no timeless classics here. | |

| You know, I really don't like this one. Not because it's bad, but because it seems like such a significant departure from previous efforts. Less guitar solos, more "edgy" material (I don't know how you can say a band has matured when they go from writing songs like "Everybody Wants to be Someone" or "Feel it Again," for example to songs like "Shit City"), and just a plain deterioration of material since Erik Gronwall joined the band. "Address the Nation" was phenomenal, but since then, I've watched my favorite band become increasingly less interesting. | |

| This fifth album doesn't sound like H.E.A.T at all and there's no audible resemblance with AOR whatsoever. It's perfectly listenable but very disappoing. H.E.A.T released some new songs of their upcoming 6th album and thank God they're back to their roots [actually it sounds more like a Hard Rock album] rather than this boring psicodelic non-sense that this album [Into The Great Unknown] is. | |
