The bobbsey twins are back. Are you guys dating? 2 more useless comments for an album released almost a month after your comments. 6/9/15 |

This album comes out of the gate strong, first song "Rockin' to the Edge of the Night" is a toe-tapper, then it kind of levels off. Not as good as New Audio Machine, IMO. In a weird way, they sound like Crazy Lixx to me? Or is it vice versa? |

I really really liked the previous album, but this one amazingly is even better. So many catchy songs, and overall the sound on this one is more of the classic vibe from the Hear era without some of the 40ft Ringo influences that were dotted amongst the NAM songs. That said, Soul of a lovin man sounds like it could be lifted straight from a Whitesnake album, with Loran even aping Coverdales vocals at times. Rocking to the edge of the night and Every second counts are probably my two faves, but like the previous album, not a bad song on it. |

very good release by TRIXTER ,a band that always had the talent of writing catchy, commercial hard rock tunes and satisfying the fans!many good moments like "midnight in your eyes",'rocking to the edge of the night" and "soul of a lovin man"!been with them since day 1 and it feels good still being together after so many years |

TRIXTER always seems to deliver a good ol fashioned rock album, keeping in the vein of their 1990 "S/T" and 1992 "Hear!", this record surpasses their previous release "New Audio Machine" (which was a great return). The production is better and the songs stay true to the classic oriented good-time TRIXTER mentality. It pays off with their finally recorded live classic "Rockin' to the Edge of the Night" which debuts for the first time on a record in 25+ years. The album does dabbles a bit into a more mature modern rock style tracks, without straying too far off from the overall theme of the album. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1,3,5,6,7,8,10. MY RATING: 92/100 |
