He's done much better solos on the first Vicious Rumors CD (Soldiers of the Night, 1985)... for me that one is his real solo album.

A masterpiece.

Excellent!. I usually can't stand fully instrumental CD's and get bored after a few songs, but this one flows very easily to your ears.

Brilliantly melodic and explosive debut from this shred master. In Control is a rush of adrenaline that will hook you from first listen, Daydream has loads of hooks and intertwining melodies and Hero Without Honour is another stand out. While there are no vocals, the strong melodic playing with MacAlpine on keys would convert anyone to instrumental rock.

One of the best instrumental guitar albums ever to be sure! I can listen to it over and over again.
