The first album that Bride made that I wouldn't mind playing to friends as a representative example of their talent. The songs are very bluesy, but feel very honest. One of my personal favorites. |

A very good album but "Snakes" is still my pick of all the albums. |

The best album ever put out by these guys. This is where they define the rest of their history as a band. And a darn good effort here. Snakes is close to being my favorite, but there is so much more to this album. |

IF JESUS PLAYED A LES PAUL AND MOSES SANG VOCALS........IT WOULD SOUND LIKE THIS!!!THE TALENT ON THIS ALBUM,AND MOST OF BRIDES ALBUMS,IS UNSURPASSED.I STUMBLED ONTO THESE GUYS BY ACCIDENT AND HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK!!!ON 90% OF THEIR SONGS ONE CANT EVEN TELL THEY ARE A CHRISTIAN BAND...NOT THAT IT MATTERS....BUT IF YOU WEREN'T TOLD,YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW!!!METAL NEED NOT BE DARK AND DREARY....HERE'S THE PROOF!! |

This is the album on which the band divorced their straight-ahead metal sound in favor of the swaggering hard rock style of groups like Guns 'N Roses and the results are excellent. It's also the first Bride CD to feature good production and this really allows the awesome guitar work of Troy Thompson to shine while his brother Dale belts out the tunes with more attitude than most Christian bands dare to let rip. No need to have faith that this one is good...pick it up and hear for yourself. |

This is for me Bride's best, togheter with show no mercy. I never had this one in CD, but I know I HAVE TO PICK IT. this is where Bride started adding much more blues and hard rock to their music, and they did a really good job. excellent CD !!!!!!!!!!! |
