Former members of MARTYR, the Dutch heavy metal band, guitarist Marcel Heesakkers and bassist Antoine Van Der Linden, would create HOT LEGS with ex: MAYDAY, VILLIAN and COUNTERFORCE vocalist Fred Pieters following the breakup of MARTYR. Their sound is in the vein of HOT BOY..more so than all the other bands you see compared to HOT BOY...Looking at their pictures, they appear to be a glam band, but, this is AOR / Melodic Rock at it's best. |

Hey Delbert, you know these guys also ended up as the excellent band, Wild Ride? A few of the songs from this one ended up on thier excellent debut - much less glammy than this and an excellent CD. I definately recommend any fan of this EP check it out. I like this - great guitar and yes, they proved even then dressed in lipstick they were a very good band. Not as good as the Wild Ride CD, but great melodic rock. |

Geoff...yes, I did know these guys were part of the Wildride band as well. I guess I should have made mention of that, but, you covered the base well there. Thanks! |

Once you get past the cheesey cover tune they use as an opener, the other 4 tracks are pretty damn good. Well worth checking out....just good, melodic hard rock, despite the glammed up image. |

I like a lot melodies of this band(very catchy IMO),pretty good vocalist, decent production but they are too weak for my taste, guitar is pretty absent, weak keys ecc…but this is a great cd anyway!I don’t know why I appreciate this one so much….. |

Wow What an EP! Excellent Melodic HRock/AOR! àla White Lion.. Yeah Production is not so good but there are great catchy tunes, don´t confuse with that glammy cover. "Stop In The Name Of Love" "Fool Fool" "Take Me Into Your Arms" Hola Guapa are my favorite tracks. Recommended. 8.2/10 |

Stand tall for $78.00!!!..you gotta be kidding! luckily i found this in a bargain for $7.00 ...z4roxx,Delbert,Geoff and Whiplash 1972,your comments are very accurate, melodic stuff 4 sure and that's the way they started the mini with a catchy cover of The Hollies' big hit "Stop In The Name Of Love"(originally written by The Supremes/Diana Ross gospel band of the early 60's,1961 to be precised and obviously a hit that The Hollies made popular in the 80's),"Fool,Fool" is a highlight and "Take Me Into Your Arms" is way cool...now the best tracks at least 4 me are "How Long" & "Follow My Heart"...give it a try and find out by yourselves dudes!.84/100 |

Dear Lord, I'm really starting to wonder if you guys just like being kind on your reviews or just like deceiving people. These guys formed after the breakup of MARTYR in 1989 by both Antoine Van Der Linden (REVIVER,MARTYR,WILD RIDE,MY BROTHER JAKE, ANGOUW, EWEL) & Marcel Heesakers. Their style was average AT-BEST Melodic Rock with both AOR & Glam tendencies. Their pitfalls were both a vocalist who was out of tune on many occasions (Fred Pieters; WILD RIDE, MAYDAY,VILLIAN,COUNTERFORCE),very generic material as a whole as well as an exceptionally lame cover version from THE SUPREMES. Anyone expecting anything near what you've read above would be deceived at best. Both Antoine & Fred would move on with WILD RIDE as well as Antoine later with VANGOUW (better then both HOT LGES or WILD RIDE. Thankfully Marcel would re-join the best band he would ever be involved with-MARTYR in 2006 as the HOT LEGS/WILD RIDE days were nothing more than a chance to jump on the bandwagon on selling out. |

The band typos listed above for Antoine should have been VANGOUW & JEWEL). |
