Great funky blues/rock. Excellent guitar work and great lyrics. He ain't Hendrix, but he's damn good. GREAT! |

Yes I must agree with my friends who posted above about this one being superb. 'Sign Of The Storm' is a great song. Talent, talent, talent! |

Excellent first effort from Gales and his brother, who is also in the group and actually taught Eric to play guitar! Cool funky guitar riffs that remind you of Hendrix, Trower, Stevie Ray and early Pat Travers. Good production, arrangements, and great tunes. Above average. |

Great stuff here. 'Sign Of The Storm' is a killer track! |

Right on! Gales' first CD was straight up and kicks! Many good tunes here, not a bad one in the lot. Great driving music. Thanks Jen! |

Run out to get his just-released (April 24, 2001)"That's What I Am". It is terrific! Just saw him at House of Blues on the 17th. It was partly his enthusiasm that prompted me to get the record, and WHEW! What a record! Incidentally, "She Shines", he said, is written for his daughter. Some sweet backwards guitar on the tender "I Can't Go On". |

I like 'Sign of the Storm' very much, and recognize the man's talent, but I don't think this album is all that great. |

13 Jahre nachdem ich die LP gekauft habe, ist dieses Album immer noch ein Hammer für mich. Was ist aus den 3 Typen eigentlich geworden? |

This is an excellent debut !! Kind of a fresh sound fo this talented guitarist/songwriter. Resurrection and Sign of the Storm are my faves on this album. A little known fact is that this band is actually a self professing Christian band signed to the Elektra label. Some funko rama blues tinged guitarwork found here. 88/100 |
