This is just awesome glam & hard rock. Very melodic and it rocks hard. And this being a new album, it sure is promising to hear something this good come out here in the U.S. instead of the "mainstream" alterna-shit that they're trying to force down everyone's throat. Melodic metal, glam, AOR, and pure hard rock will always be #1 with me! Parlor Trixx should be commended for putting out such a good, pure, hard rocking album. Do yourself a favor and go out and buy it!!!

Actually a pretty good cd. Kinda nice to know that in this current day & age there still is bands of this ilk keeping that late 80's early 90's good time "pop metal" vibe alive. Remind me of Kiss a little bit with the riffs and hooks you can hang slabs of beef off of. Sorta a 80's era Kiss meets Warrant thing going on. If you're gonna support a up & coming band this is a good one to begin with. Worth the bucks definitely!

If you're a fan of kick-ass hair-metal, then this CD will be stuck in your stereo like a horny dog stuck on your leg. This band knows every trick in the book, musical magicians who conjure up cool guitars, big hooks, catchy choruses, and sweet backing vocals. There is not a single misstep on this album...every song is a keeper. Recommended for fans of Wet Paint, Mystery Bloom, Attraction, etc. Energetic, fun-lovin' party-metal at its finest.

Most people on this site should at least check out these guys. Almost all of the songs from their disc are available for free off their site and the sound is pretty good. Very 80's sounding hard rock but the band still manages to sound fresh and new. Kind of reminds me of a cross between early Warrant and Dirty Blonde. Hell-they even do an old Pandemonium cover(Boys in the bright white sports car)

If you ever get a chance to see these guys live do it. There show rocks, you won't be disapointed I gaurantee. This is the music partying was built on.

LMAO at M. Allen's "dog on your leg" reference!! It's TRUE!!! I can't stop listening to this thing for the past two days!! Love the "get up and go" feeling I get with almost every track!! Favorite is "Second Chance (Too Late)" .....woke up with that tune in my brain this morning...LOVE "Bitch" and "Aphrodesiac Smile" and "Over The Top"!!! Weakest track, IMO is "Queen City Saturday Night"....just does nothing for me...

This is an extremely good hard rock CD. The title track is a killer and sets up what turns out to be a really great album. Very solid all the way through and well worth your time. Awesome musicianship and songs, and the guy's voice. I have to admit the ballad is probably my favourite song - one, because it is an amazing song, and two, because the guy's voice is awesome on it! Killer track, killer CD. Recommended!

Step Into My Parlor could easily have been named Step Into 1989 as there is nothing modern about this band. All they have done is take the best elements of the 80s rock scene and have made it their own. People may argue whether this is heavy metal, hard rock, glam metal or hair metal - but for the sake of argument let's just settle for fucking incredible rock 'n' roll. They hail from Regina, Saskatchewan in Canada.

This cd is really a rockin cd if you are a fan of the 80's.the last track on the cd is a cover of the age of electric Aphrodisiac Smile song which was another great Canadian Band which they do a great job at, they never missed a beat.Great cover song.

This is good party rock, but I'm not sure I share the enthusiasm of the other posters here. This CD has all the ingredients to be a killer hard rock piece but they just lack a little something... The singer's got a great voice though. Recommended.
