'7th heaven' is probably the better release of the band ( but 'A race of the devil', 'Live on the streets of danger' and ' Corruption of innocence' are really good release for melodic fans)... if you find, take it! Are there really good songs! I love this band...bye bye

This is a milestone! With this cd Vanadium tried to americanize their sound....lot of keyboards and multilayered vocals, a bunch of great songs (especially the first three) and great musicians, they showed that italian bands can play melodic hard rock at the same level than scandinavian and american acts!! In my opinion the best Italian AOR/MHR album ever realeased!!

From: melo Date: March 25, 2004 at 18:53
hey this sounds like a good cd, anyone with vanadium - seventh heaven cd for sale please e mail me melodicrock@telstra.com

Vanadium was one of the greatest 80'(but till nowdays underrated)european metal band. This band made the history of Italian '80 metal.First albums(Metal Rock, A Race with the Devil,Game Over,Born to fight)are stronger, sound 'more metallic';Sevetheaven(the last album with English lyrics)is an overture to a more commercial melodic hard rock with americanized sound.Without dubts Sevetheaven is a great MHD album, but more energetic than a classical standard AOR:still in 1989 Vanadium always rocks!

From: marco paulo Date: April 4, 2005 at 19:34
in italy this album is probably easier to get even though iv'e had no luck in finding it on the internet (no, not even lp) i dont even believe this ever came out on cd. and the lp, how come its so hard to find? i like this album, such a shame i got a very horribly recorded (downloaded) album, it was probably recorded from a mono vinyl plate, the crackling is allso annoying

From: forza-orietto Date: October 28, 2005 at 18:55
impossible to find release, the music could be great but i've never appreciate the way who sing P. Scotto. 82/100

From: The Dolphin Date: February 16, 2006 at 9:57

From: roby5150 Date: May 23, 2006 at 19:04
Le mie preferite: Italian Girl e Take My Blues Away(grande!). 70/100

From: walter Date: June 23, 2006 at 15:05

From: SCANDI Date: June 30, 2006 at 9:37
I don't know the song titles of them I like the best, but there are some very nice tracks with these high-pitched background vocals in (but not only in) the chorus. Again, it's a bit of a strange voice the singer has, which makes this album essential for z4roxx --And PLEASE z4roxx: stop laughing & got me an album from that supermarket!!!!! Rating: 8,6/10

From: z4roxx Date: August 28, 2006 at 12:59
Vanadium have released 6 studio cds’+ a live album but pressed on cd only their last 2 works, this one and”Nel cuore del caos”(only cd sung in Italian).Their old label was Durium rec.,I have on cassette”Game over”,great release with their maga hit”Streets of danger”.I hope someone can press on cd 2 great Italian bands of the 80’s period:Royal Airforce(Queensryche style)and Sharks/notti di fuoco(fantastic pomp rock/aor in a typical Europe style).

From: The Dolphin Date: November 2, 2006 at 4:53

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 27, 2007 at 3:10
Very Good Melodic Hard Rock/AOR, hay tantos albums que uno se deja en el tintero y si no fuera por los compañeros que siempre comentan aca uno se olvidaria, muy buen trabajo de estos Italianos muy al estilo de las bandas Germanas y Escandinavas de esa epoca que practican estilos asi 8.5/10

From: RonnieJamesDaddo Date: December 11, 2007 at 3:02

From: rick kerch vzla Date: December 22, 2008 at 18:35
Sounds good but that's about all."Italian Girl","Natural Born Loner" are good AOR/POMP songs and the rest are on the same line excepts "Seventh Heaven" (the heavy one, sounds as a little filler,sorry).80/100

From: z4roxx Date: August 6, 2009 at 3:53
Greatest melodick hard rock album of all times.Incredible album, melodies never heard before. Thanks Pino & Vanadium for this awesome gem.My tribute is to see every week the Pino's program on pay tv to support this artist.Let's dream with this masterpiece forever!

From: Delbert Date: January 3, 2010 at 13:59
This excellent CD is only one of two of VANADIUM'S eight albums officially released on CD. With English lyrics, they were the uncontested leaders of the metal scene in Italy during the 80's, eventually breaking up in 1990 after the release of this album. On "Seventheaven", the band moves from the sound of their earlier "Italian Metal" albums to a more American or Scandi sounding eighties melodic rock with keys. By the time you get to track 6, you no longer think you are listening to a metal band!!!! This is energetic melodic rock at it's best from one of the great bands of an era!! Fans of TREAT, ALIEN and AUTOGRAPH will be consumed by VANADIUM as I was......Trust me on this one.....

From: jstoyz Date: April 8, 2010 at 1:44
As a HUGE fan of all of their LPs, this one ranks as their quintessential masterpiece in my book and gets spun weekly (at least)! I absolutely love the back and forth b/t the backing vox. and Pino in "Italian Girl," a splendid opener with just the right mix of guitars and keys. On first spin, track #2, "Natural Born Loner," was the most melodic song I'd ever heard from this group, dropping all pretenses of metal while still keeping the HUGE guitar hooks and backing chorus. But that excellent mid-tempo melodic rocker was quickly eclipsed by the spine tingling ballad "Take My Blues Away," which is not only the album highlight for me but also one of my all-time fav. songs. Granted, I do occasionally skip past the title track, but it's hard for me to find much fault with this CD. Outstanding slice of commercial melodic hard rock that deperately NEEDS TO BE REISSUED.....Jeff.

From: metalhead4life Date: May 26, 2010 at 16:10
Yes, this one definitely needs to be reissued. Very good melodic hard rock with keys from 1989. Big catchy sounds that will take you away. I can't stop listening to "Step Ahead Of Time". What a catchy melodic song! I almost want to say this is a melodic masterpiece but I think I'll have to give it more listens first. I think the guitar leads could have been a bit better; some sound a little messy; though the overall sound isn't good on my unforunate bootleg copy (never saw an original and even if I did, I don't think I'd drop hundreds for one). 85/100 as of now.

From: juan carlos Date: May 26, 2010 at 16:31
Hey mate, i bought this Original CD 4 years ago and it cost me just $21 via Schmankerl Records, this CD appears every now and then so grab it as soon as you find it, i mean Purchase it! Good luck

From: metalhead4life Date: May 26, 2010 at 20:05
Hey Juan, I'm curious - how does the production/sound quality of the original CD sound? My bootleg is hissy and staticy - mainly the guitar.

From: juan carlos Date: May 27, 2010 at 12:14
Yep mate, the production is good, perhaps it wasn´t cleaned well from the LP (originally this one was released only in LP as far as i know) but the Sound Quality is annoying to my ears, yep as you said, it´s noisy/Hissy.

From: z4roxx Date: May 28, 2010 at 11:11
This is the only Vanadium album besides their last one next studio album to be released also on cd.IMO is the best aor cd ever heard from Europe.Long live to Pino Scotto!!!
