This and "No Control" were his career highlights. Although in terms of albums he never really had that many highlights, it was the fact he found 2/3 tracks per album with hit single potential that made his reputation. This was at least a little rockier than the polished pop music that followed his first 3 albums. The first 2 tracks are superb, as is the killer AOR of "Run Right Back", and the ballads hit the mark. Buy this, any of his first 3 albums, and the Greatest Hits, and avoid the rest. |

I only found this a couple of months ago, and what a good find it is. Actually reminds me a little of the Stan Bush CD I just commented on (Though not nearly as good overall). A very good, solid collection of melodic rock. 'Fall in love again' is a wonderful ballad, and 'Run right back' is a killer melodic rocker. Overall, a couple that don't really grip me, but it is a good collection of commercial / melodic rock. |

Truly a fine album by Mr. Money. His career went into a nose dive after this album due to the rise of Grunge rock, but he went out with a bang! Plenty of possible top 40 hits on this effort and maybe his best overall album. I have a couple of thousand albums / cds and of all those songs, "Another nice day in L.A." remains easily within my top 5 favorite songs. |

por cierto mis temas favoritos son "fall in love again" (que tal melodia!), "heaven in the back seat" (escrita por john mutt lange), "run right back" (bella!, escrita por Diane Warren!) "another nice day in L.A." y la preciosa balada "i´ll get by".. este album sin duda me agrada y se lo recomiendo a cualquier fan del AOR! claro.. si es que le gusta la voz de eddie money, pues a que esperas a tenerlo ehh?.... |

There's something creepy and embarrassing about hearing a 42-year-old Eddie Money singing about fucking a "young girl" in the backseat. This album is the sound of the Money Man overstaying his welcome with more overwrought boomer-rock song-doctored to hell and back and phoned in from about 1985. The other single, "I'll Get By" was Eddie's final Top-40 hit, and sounds like it could have come from a Rod Stewart album from the same era (although it's not nearly as dreadful as "The Love In Your Eyes" off the previous album). Harry Chapin's fictional aging DJ would play this on WOLD. |
