HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA What the hell is this band doing in here? I wouldn't quite rate this hardrock but ok the guitar has a hard edge to it...A lot of funky 60s/70s grooves on this one. The lyrics are worse than shit and overall it's a pretty experimental album. Some quite peculiar melodies here. In Denmark this is rated "modern" rock music. The only hardrockin' stuff on this album is the guitar which obviously owes a lot to 80s riffing. Unconventional band I must say! Never thought I'd see them here

I'm not proud to admit it but I once had this album. Luckily I sold it! Sure some tracks are memorable but it's not an album you hear time & time again. You grow pretty tired of it...The 2nd album "Rotator" had a more metal influenced sound to it but disappeared in the vast amounts of 90s crap music. Like I put it above Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have some obvious metal inspirations which are pretty evident but the album is a mixture between experimental 70s acid-rock & the occasional metal riff.

By the way, their ballads were their trademark...Not very good ballads I must admit but a song like "Silverflame" is still an alltime classic here in Denmark. Every little Britney clone knows the lyrics to that song. Pretty cool I guess....Good god, this belongs in a museum! Haha but so does most stuff in here...If you expect metal sounding stuff from DML you should find their 2nd album instead.

You'd have to be dizzy to enjoy this band. Personally, I'd rather eat the maggots out of a dead dog's rectum than listen to this garbage again. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you get the drift...

Damn, people really don't like this. I didn't think it was that bad. Sure, it's on the softer side of things, but I thought their style was outside the beaten path...

Yes, outside the beaten path...That's for sure! In fact so far away from it that this effort sounds like some doped-out songwriter/guitar player (not mentioning any names!) had a vision in some Marijuana daze to include a few metal riffs to his far from perfect interpretation of what the 70s were all about...Why not just make a Doors tribute album??? Ok, a bit too hard there! But it just ain't that good if you're talking in terms of hardrock. If you just want something strange. Go for it!

Is this album still in here??? PLEEEEASE remove it...HeavyHarmonies is often used as a guide to what-should-be-the-next-buy but this release is so misleading...Somebody will probably love it but generally it wouldn't be the case for Hardrock/Aor lovers...Their 2nd album is a bit closer to being relevant but misleading as well...Hmmm...

By the way, Tim Christensen (the frontman) was recently interviewed on nationwide radio where he was told to pick a few songs that had inspired him...Along with Beatles stuff etc. he actually picked "10.000 Lovers" from TNT saying they had inspired a lot of material on this their debut...Well, where the hell are those inspirations present???

I know... it has a melody, so.. many of you don't like it- well, it may not belong on this page, BECAUSE it's TOO GOOD for it. I guess scandos don't stick up for each other

Perhaps this isn't exactly "Hard Rock", but that doesn't make it bad music! If some people find this album really crappy, so be it. Personally I enjoy listening to Dizzy!

Hey everybody.. If you like this CD you shout buy Tim Christensens new solo CD "HONEYBURST"... It's even better then this one!!!! (www.timchristensen.dk)

Yepha: Or maybe NOT!!! If it absolutely must be anything with Tim Christensen then let it be Dizzy Mizz Lizzy...His solo efforts are alt. acoustic guitar crap worse than DML... And to US FAN: I don't care if it's not heavy enough...In fact it's a lot harder than what I normally listen to but this album's just a typical example of a band riding along the grunge inspired alt. wave during the 90s. The "Metal" guitars on here are the only things relevant to this site

First time I went to Denmark , I discovered this band !! To me , even if it isn' t melodic rock or AOR , it is a "Kick Ass" album ! Damned ! These guys rock ! The second release 'Rotator' is not as powerful .. but 1st Dizzy is a killer groovy release !! Listen to the first track , and you 'll know what Rock n Roll means ! DIZZY is not TV2 !! Wake up dead !!

Unbelievably bad disc. Musically they sounded quite good, but the songs are just shocking. Still not sure exactly what they were trying to do, but this one best left alone... and well avoided. I'd cross streets to avoid this one again - in the path of on-coming cars.

Just got the JAP import of this disc and i like it alot. Lots of tight technical guitar riffs, hooks a-plenty and awesome melodic vocals - great voice. At a time when stone temple pilots, nirvana and other talentless garage schlock ruled the airwaves, these guys were doing something interesting and melodic with rock. I'll be holding on to this disc and i highly recommend it. Thanks DAN for having it on this site. 8/10

This is not Metal,AOR or even Hard Rock but the album was quite well-done.The Beatles has created songs like "Helter Skelter" and "Elenor Rigby" by feeling they could play a bit harder, and let's say Dizzy Mizz Lizzy was the band who stands between something Pop and something hard, who feels they can play both music at once.
