The last release with the classic pairing of Snowy White & Scott Gorham. Some great stuff on here inc. 'Angel Of Death' 'Hollywood' and the excellent title track. |

This one is a slight improvemenet over "Chinatown". Opening song "Angel Of Death" sounds like it has some new-wave influence but turns out to be one of the bands better long tracks as is the title tune. "Hollywood" would be the last classic 70's style rocker for the band before they switched to a more metal sound (and better) with the next album. 8/10 |

Since I don't want to die....I'll buy. I would have anyway. There is some timeless classic jewelry on this one. |

After the somewhat disappointing China Town, I really felt that Renegade redeemed the band 100%! The overly clean production hampers how heavy this disc could have been. However no one can deny the pure brilliance of "Angel of Deat" or "The Pressure Will Blow". Many say this is the bands worst album. Perhaps "Renegade" is Thin Lizzy's best, but with a line of masterworks under their belt, their worst is still better than many others best. Thin Lizzy rules! 9/10 |

Thin Lizzy are one of my favorite bands, and one band that never really released a bad album. They constantly changed style, and this album is no exception. If youre a Lizzy fan you will love it. I do. |

If you like THUNDER&LIGHTNING you will also like this album. Some songs could have been perfectly on their last studio album like ANGEL OF DEATH or HOLLYWOOD. Those two songs have a tipical NWOBHM sound that i love together with THIN LIZZY classic sound of course. |

A much better release overall with Snowy White, which recovered some of the lost chemistry that Gary Moore obviously had with the band. Defintely a handful of standout tracks such as "Angel Of Death", "The Pressure Will Blow", & "Hollywood". Worth an occasional spin every now & then. |

Nice album with a more subtle sound...tracks "Renegade"(which strongly reminds me of Chris Rea or even Chris De Burgh in the feel)& "Hollywood (Down On Your Luck)" are my faves...cuts 1,4 & 9(AORish) are also fine ones...84/100 |

Thin Lizzy rules! Another great álbum!, We miss Phil, one of the real true Heroes! |

Pretty good release for THIN LIZZY with Phil showing again his diverse songwriting ability combining different sounds and styles to the their trademark sound!not their best overall but still it has its moments with songs like "hollywood","no one told him" and "leave this town"!every LIZZY release is recommended |
