How can no one review this classic? Robertson and Gorham make their debut with Thin Lizzy and the band moves away from it's lighter earlier work into more of a hard rock band. Good album, but they had their best work ahead of them. 8/10 |

Actually, they made their debut as a tandem on Night Life in 1974, but who's counting? Fighting is a sadly underrated album... |

FTW! Thin Lizzy came out of the gate pounding with this marvelous monster. Still a classic to this very instant. |

The band's first hard hitting classic album. Lynott unleashed the mules on this disc. A great vibe characteristic of most of Lynott's albums. Recommended Listening. |

the first guy (big papa k) that made a comment on this album asked: how come no one comments on this classic? it´s easy brother do you think that 90% of guys around here have ears to hear this quality? no! they are used to super produced studio stuf of the 90´s and 21st century stuff!! this is to big brother ( a diamond of 18 kilats) and almost everything they did! we are talking about a legend in music not only in rock!!! |

This is one of my favorite Thin Lizzy releases! Great mix of ballads, a cover, "Rosalie" and some hard rocking songs, "Suicide" and "Ballad of a Hard Man!" Essential TL, IMO! Track 2 is "For Those Who Love To Live." My rating is 95. KoR! |
