My favourite Rush album. An awesome classic. |

Perfect 10- this & 'PermanentWaves' are the quintessant RUSH! So much more- but these were complete. This, the culmination of Rush, Fly By Night, Caress of Steel & 2112 respectively, side-stepping the sequil & onto other said classic- A Farewell To Kings is nothing short of anything. The Best Balance of everything..,can't word IT like I mean IT but from Madrigal & Cinderella Man to the epics- Xanadu & Cygnus X-1 & even a HIT!!!!- Closer To The Heart. Rush are The singular-most hard, progressive |

RUSH's best overall album, which is saying a lot. A perfect mix of their heavy prog leanings with their majestic metal. Xanadu is the quintessential rUSA song in this respect. A must have! |

To quote sinner, this is quintessential Rush that is a must own. The heavy prog leanings of '2112' are evident here again. "Closer To The Heart", "Cygnus X-1" and "Xanadu" are all awesome in their own right. This is essential Rush, and every prog-head must own. Fantastic stuff indeed. |

How do you possibly follow up after 2112? With this one, of course. Excellent endeavor, a true classic masterpiece for all time. |
From: TomSawYa | Date: December 13, 2004 at 4:34 |
One small step for you to buy this album, which was possibly the greatest big step for RUSH at that time. A milestone anyway. |

Ummm...not my cup of tea at all ..."Closer To The Heart" is the best cut and one of the band's all time classics,a nice and moody song...tracks 4 & 6 are also good ones but nothing out of the extraordinaire IMHO.55/100 |
From: Doug | Date: February 11, 2016 at 13:51 |
"55 out of 100?" Wow, this a great album. '70's RUSH is simply fantastic stuff. |
