I think this is a very good album, some cool axe work from Tony MacAlpine , great keys from Vitalij Kuprij ( Artension ), and very good vox from Mark Boals.

GREAT WORK. IT JUST TURNED ME BACK TO MALSTEEN-TRILOGY TIMES. MARK IS TERRIFIC,EACH AND EVERY SOUND SPELLED FROM HIS VOICE IS A MASTERPIECE. GIVE IT A TRY! NO REGRET! ESP: UN TRABAJO MUY BUENO. HAY CANCIONES ACOJONANTES.YO PENSABA QUE YA NADIE PODÍA COMPONER ESTE TIPO DE MÚSICA Y HACER ALGO DECENTE.CLÁSICO Y FRESCO A LA VEZ. NO ES 10/10 PERO SI 9/10.

Not as good as his solo debut, pretty average. So try to look for his Japanese released only solo debut, IGNITION.

From: Date: October 15, 2003 at 20:15
This album is far better than Ignition.Actually i think it's the best Boals album, including the ring of fire ones. The sound isn't perfect, but the songs are all killers!

This is a credible offering from vocal prince Mark Boals, and you can tell with the lineup assembled, this ain't going to be no laid back affair. All the musicians are masters of their field, with MacAlpine in a class of his own, while Kuprij is a master on keyboards. Though this is Mark's album, I found his vocals trying their hardest to keep up with the musicians onboard. His operatic style is right at home in this genre. Not many could do better mind you. For lovers of power metal.
