An abomination of an album. The band's self-titled debut was a cool slab of Skid Row-flavored melodic metal, but this sophomore CD took the alternative/grunge route, leaving many pissed-off fans in its wake. Listening to the yowling screams of a tomcat being liquified in an industrial-strength blender would be preferable to having your ears violated by this crap. All the band members should have their testicles fried for unleashing this pile of puke on their fans.

Pure shit!

From: Gar Date: December 9, 2003 at 12:19
Boy does this suck! A complete change of style from the debut. I have no problem with a band wanting to experiment, but to record an entire album of grunge songs(and bad ones at that) completely alienates whatever fans they had in the first place. But if you gotta find out for yourself, I see this one for real cheap all the time.

An excellent follow-up to 'Purple', the songs are not as immediate but benefit from repeated plays. Check out Scott's new band Velvet Revolver, lets hope his much publicised drug problems are behind him. Sorry, I think I am getting confused, this is a Stone Temple Pilots album is it not?! Apparently Sven Gali have reformed recently and started work on their eagerly anticipated Nu Metal album, I wait with baited breath!

If you like grunge fine but if you are a melodic rock fan like me avoid this cd.I wasted my hard earned cash on this.

I think these guys went like "We did a great record and nothing happened", "Now let's make pure mediocre shit that is going on the airwaves and maybe we make it finaly". Obviously they didn't achive it this way either. Maybe they are reloading and comming hard with a rap-metal or emo album some time soon. For now let's hope none of that happends. And as you try hard to avoid this shity record against all, plese stick harder to your copies of the debut (hell of a good album by the way!)

Great record, nearly as influential as Nevermind, Ten & Dust! We all love the Grunge!

From: Elton Lee Date: July 5, 2004 at 0:14
This album really kicked ass!!! eventhough it really sounds grunge and alternative. The entire album is so so different from their previous effort. It is a great change in direction... No doubt I love the 1st album cause I am a hard Rock AOR fan.... The 1st couple of spins doesn't really get you but after the 3rd or fourth round when every thing settled in... That is when it kicked major ass big time!!! If you want something really different and bored of the usual hard rock stuffs... check this

From: Dean Date: July 5, 2004 at 13:58
To be honest I never even knew these guys were a hair band previously so when i heard this i liked it. Now that I've heard the previous album i can see why people were up in arms over it but i can't help thinking it's a decent disc. Sorry for the dissension in the ranks. 7/10

From: ahmad Date: August 23, 2004 at 3:20
great! this is really their original sound with style!

From: Geoff Date: August 23, 2004 at 8:34
Oh the pain! Can anyone say Wildside? One killer hard rock release followed by a terrible sell-out release - oh how the mighty fell and such a steep, ugly fall. I haven't heard this for literal years but I think there was one song I didn't mind. The rest was just garbage and lost in an ocean of dissapointment. Poor once-brilliant band...

From: FRATELLO Date: September 23, 2004 at 8:39
"Who Said" cool song. The rest... I tried to understand... Well, maybe it will take more time

From: Erik Date: November 26, 2004 at 23:05
Man that sucks i was going to get the album tonight but good thing you guys grunge. Grunge is like taking away all the the beat and rymth and put a sound that makes feel like the worlds going to end.

Let Me know

From: SIXXSWINE Date: January 22, 2005 at 0:42
This record is by no means grunge. I think think people labeled it that because of the detuned guitars & the punchy sound. This band is out of their element on this record & it shows. This has to be one of the most horrible records that a former glam band issued, next to Warrant Belly to Belly that is... This record is nothing more than a future coaster for your coffee cup or your bottle of brew... SIXX

From: Japangea Date: October 16, 2007 at 8:59
What's grunge? Like Alice In Chains in sound for instance? But they were just '90's Black Sabbath at all.By knowing this, this kind of CD was just doing what they really like in their own way.If you do not like, just do not listen but do no not say "crap" or "Shit".

From: Mustaine_TW Date: April 20, 2008 at 1:22
well, after a serious listening, I think this record is very good if you don't compare it with the self-titled album. "Keeps Me Down", "Make Me", "Tired Of Listening", "Helen", "Who Said" is recommended.

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 12, 2008 at 11:49
BIG pile of steaming shit part 2...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!
