| I expected for more when i saw the names of Tim Pierce or Mike Slamer involved here, but at first listens i was a bit disappointed, yep itīs a good AOR/MR album, Good production, some good solos, Pomp Choruses(i cannot dig this kind of choruses). "Never Find Her Alone" "Brand New World" "Evil and Pain" "Emily" and the ballad "Forever With You" are good ones. I still prefer their "Ordinary Just Wonīt Do" album. 8.6/10 | |

| This is a great AOR/pomp release and I love the harmony vocals in "Sacrifice" (1.15min - 1,25min!!!). I do have the 2 previous Grand Illusion albums on Escape Music as well and if you like these you will love Brand New World too. One of the songs is named after my daughter "Emily" so this Cd will always be special for me. | |
