This one is a big disappointment. Average AOR with no remarkable melodies and chorusses. Only song I like is track 1. All in all it sounds a bit like a Chris Rea release :-( Liked their first 2 cds a lot, but this isnīt worth buying. 68/100 |

Another album that suffers from high expectations due to the excellence of the first 2 albums from 101 South. If this was an album from a new artist I'd be quite pleased to have found it - however it is clearly not as good as the previous 2. All the tracks are pretty good, with nothing really standing out. There's an Alan Parsons Project feel to several of the tracks - even ones without Ian Bairnson on. |

101 South by numbers. I was going to say if you liked their other albums you'll like this one too, but judging by the first two replies I may be wrong. lol. I've heard all these albums, and all the Harlan Cage albums and all of them sound identical. If you want something different, don't bother, but if you like what you've heard on all the other CDs this one is pretty much on par with them, imo. Not bad. Not great. |

Overall a good album, very well produced too, and the voice of Gregory Lynn Hall remains unique. My favorite tracks, without a doubt : Lonely Heart, From What You Know Now, and Yesterday Is Gone. |

More mid tempos and ballads than anything else...there is a lack of that AOR feel of their 2 previews albums..."Roll Of The Dice" still for me is the best one out of the 3 releases...the best track in here IMHO is the catchy "Don't Tell Me It's Over"...other highlights are "When You're In Love","All In The Game","Lonely Heart"(the one with some AOR,nice softy),"What Are You Gonna Do Anyway" & "From What You Know Now"...mellow stuff...adorable for the ones with a sweet heart,i prefer their AOR stuff...83/100 |

NOT QUITE LIKE THEIR 1ST 2 CD,S. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED HERE. DOES NOT HAVE THEIR UNIQUE SOUND OR SONG QUALITY. STILL NOT A BAD CD TO OWN. I WILL ALWAYS LIKE THESE GUYS. THEIR POSITIVE SONG MUSICIANS. |
