| Was initially really looking forward to this release, however upon re-listening to it several times back-to-back, I am quite disappointed. Realizing that many tracks are re-recordings and re-edits of the Appice's brothers selected tracks from their career, and a couple of newer cuts as well. This release really did not inspire a further listen. It is a shame coming from two bros. that excel in their drumming skills and from their many clinics as well that they could not produce an album of tracks that displayed their true abilities. A few songs have potential, but a lot of the "left channel" and "right channel" drum assignments (Vinny vs Carmine) were drowned out by one or the other, or just mixed poorly for listening. King Kobra's "Monsters & Heroes" is redone on here which is commendable, but the original version is far superior. Sabbath Mash is a huge let down too... HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #2,5,6,11 MY RATING: 68/100.
