Weak album!I bouht this one on a trip to Madrid, and I did it because I heard that they were the opening act for Tigertailz,I also thought by the looks that they were or a Glam outfit,or Pop Metal like Poison and stuff.Completely wrong! This album was all about weak hard rock tunes!Musicianship, not existing!Flat boring songs!Duo to a nice production I guess this record was close to be saved!Only listenable songs:Share the Night,Hit the Deck,Sun Worshiper. Those who reminds a little of The Cult.

From: Andre Tekken Date: August 5, 2002 at 11:29
The Cult circa "Sonic Temple" I give it a 49 out of 10

This cd is not as good as their 1989 album but there are 2 good songs worth mentioning . . "Share The Night" & "Save a Prayer" are both great ballads . . Other then that everything else on this cd is weak. . . I think the $32 price range HH has is what this cd use to sell for at one time but now they have a Jap version which sells in the $30 to $35 range and comes with bonus track . . This particular cd is the France version with no bonus tracks and can be bought on ebay for roughly $15 to $20

From: TIM Date: October 2, 2002 at 16:12
Is the bonus track any good? I have the European pressing.

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 2, 2002 at 16:44
Tim . . I have the same pressing you do. . . I hate when I get a cd and then find out later they came out with a jap version with bonus tracks . . I just bought the new Hardline cd and wasn't even thinking about there being a jap version and sure enuff they did release one, so now that was a complete waste of time and money for me cuz now I need to replace it. . . Sometimes the best tunes on the cd are the Jap bonus tracks so I don't like to pass them up.

If you buy this CD expecting a masterpiece, you'll end up singing the blues. It's OK, but aside for a few songs, there's not much here that gets the blood pumping. It's subpar melodic hard rock, nothing less, nothing more, which means there's some enjoyment to be derived, but nothing you haven't heard five thousand times before. Bottom line, you probably won't want to curse this album, but neither will you be spending much time singing its praises...

From: TIM (2) Date: May 26, 2004 at 14:31
I haven't listened to my copy for a while, but I can't remember the Jap bonus track being any better than the rest of it. Is much more in the bluesy hard-rock vein the excellent melodic hard-rock of the debut. Weak production on both CDs are my main recollections.

From: Geoff Date: June 11, 2004 at 3:48
Once again, I agree with the comments here. The only worthy tracks are the two great ballads and the rest is quite weak. There are a few okay moments and overall it's not too bad... it's just when you have a debut like 'The big noise' to comapare it to this one comes out looking very, very weak. Okay album, dissapointing album from a band that recorded a quality album like 'The big noise'.

Big dissapointment!

From: Andyhardrock Date: July 13, 2008 at 4:17
I like of this album, but the debut is better than this one.
