| Those expecting a hard rocking April Wine album won't find it here. This is mostly folk music, and Myles Goodwyn barely even sings on it. "Fast Train" hints at the direction the band would eventually take, but overall the album is a letdown.

| Aside from possibly "Fast Train", there is nothing memorable here. Only for April Wine completists.

| Okay, if you’re any kind of a rock music enthusiast, then pretty much ignore the above reviews. This album is a masterpiece. This album has the trippiness of Pink Floyd, the singability of Grand Funk Railroad, and the prog leanings of King Crimson all wrapped up into an incredible debut album to the world comprised of three brothers and their cousin Myles Goodwin. Essential listening for those who don’t wear their hair in a mullet.
