Bratta recalls, “One of the record company guys says, ‘You know what your problem is? You play too good. You need to start playing sloppy because that’s what the kids are into nowadays,’ and I took that as my exit. You gotta be kidding. You want me to suck?” Vito Bratta reflects on the ‘80s, when White Lion were kings of the hard-rock jungle, and the guitar rulebook was being rewritten by Eddie Van Halen By Matt Wake last updated August 03, 2022 https://www.guitarworld.com/features/vito-bratta-white-lion

Is there really a need for this? Listening to a preview of the album it sounds like Mike Tramp's Michael Bolton-ization of the oldies. The highlight on the album preview below is the ladies on the stripper pole in the background to distract you from his voice. I know for years since White Lion broke up, Tramp was trying to get guitarist Vito Bratta to sign up for a reunion, but he wasn't interested. Vito aka the east coast Eddie Van Halen was a talent. Tramp had the front man looks, but his limited vocal range and poor song writing on "Big Game" was the weak link.
