First proper album of all new material since Leather boyz and its only 14 years later! Not as much flash & flair as Leather boyz & a bit on the short side at around 38 mins, but still a great little album none the less.......typical PBF! Love it!

From: pbfloyder Date: January 19, 2004 at 23:11
Love the cd. The best band ever has a great new cd with some of the best songs ever recorded. This is the way rock is suppose to be. If you do not have a copy yet, pick it up asap. The song Another Day (In The Death Of America) is an instant classic, actually they all are. Great music by the greatest band! Pretty Boy Floyd is the best.

From: Edu Martins Date: January 31, 2004 at 13:12
Pretty new album from PBF, and just sound like an 1988 glam rock album. The production is very poor again, as always, but the sogns are very strong and well done. Another Day (In The Death of America), Suicide and Fuck The Rock are the best tracks. The only song i didnt liked was '2heads2faces'. Hope to see these guys recording a full album like this with good production someday. I give to this one a big 8/10.

From: Jota P Date: February 11, 2004 at 22:49
The musics are great but the production SUCKZ BIG TIME... what WASTE OF MUSICS IN THIS PRODUCTION.

From: Glam Fan Date: February 15, 2004 at 19:03
I think this album suxx.Lemme tell you why, cause its not glam it smeels like Alternative, if you really want to hear some glam rock then listen to their first album.Their first album is one of my. fave all the time.Production is too bad; guitars are weak, can't hear the drums slaming, don't want to talk about the bass sound, Steve is lost hiz old performance.I mean its not glam guyz C'mon how you can call it glam? If you want to hear glam turn back to 80's and listen some masterpieces...

From: bloodhound Date: March 14, 2004 at 13:48
I think this cd offers Pretty Boy Floyd's best work to date. If the production were better, ex. louder and clearer, this album would be deserving of 5 stars. This is a fun cd to listen to. If you are a fan of this genre of music, I reccomend buying this cd. Highligts of the cd include Suicide, Earth Girls, and the ballad 7/27. Hopefully, it wont' be more than ten years before they put out their next full length cd.

I~m a amzing fan from Brazil and i wanna know if in ebay anybody know about the DVD that is selling from PBF..anybody see...

From: SOVAIN1 Date: April 7, 2004 at 3:55
WOW I CANT BELIEVE SOMEBODY SAID THIS CD SOUNDS ALTERNATIVE......PBF IS STILL VERY MUCH GLAM . THEY ARE ALSO ONE OF THE BEST LIVE BANDS AROUND AND STEVE SOUNDS GREAT .

From: glamroxxx Date: April 24, 2004 at 17:15
I am a big fan of PBF, bought everything from demo CDs to Perris Releases, T-Shirts, Videos etc. And certainly I bought this CD. First of all, one is clear: This ain't PBF anymore, not in the classic way. This is a glamour punk band with Steve 'Sex' Summers on vocals, some cool songs, weak production and an entertainig album which makes a lot of fun - but that's all! Don't expect any PBF album anymore, the time is over. And believe me: Any Shameless album is more PBF than this 'PBF' album.

From: glamroxxx again Date: April 24, 2004 at 17:25
I would describe this album more 'alternative' than PBF, by the way...And last but not least: I am dissapointed about the decision to call this band PBF. But let's call it a PBF album: in this case this is a big piece of shit; more than ten years in writing songs, recording, touring, playing etc. and the result is poor, very poor. Shameless did a big production in the cellar (!) of Kerry Kelly. The Funny money CDs were recorded in the living room! And the so called PBF?

From: glamroxxx again Date: April 24, 2004 at 17:37
They treated us (the fans) so good with this 'monster' production out of a studio(!)! Come on guys, don't call this band PBF. They use the name for marketing, nothing more. The last official album (5 song mini cd with kerry kelly) was so cool, a big production and great songs. You see: PBF could have had a big production, only when they wanted to. But now they are more in punk, and so the producion must be more 'rough' and 'harder'. Don't get me wrong, this album is good. But don't call it PBF!!

From: Junktown Date: May 20, 2004 at 21:40
Hahaha, its pretty funny its a punk glam album or a lil' alternative production is really bad and its so weak, its not the real PBF, like glamroxx said don't call it PBF or Real Glam, I agree with Glam Fan, if you wanna hear some kick azz PBF just turn back to 80's and listen their Leather Boyz Album and Demo Collection Cds and you'll see what I mean just don't call it's still glam...Too bad for PBF, too bad!!!

From: IMPACT Date: May 27, 2004 at 7:11
CD bueno, de una de las mejores bandas de GLAM. Aunque el mejor album de la banda para mi sigue siendo LEATHER BOYZ WHIT ELECTRIC TOYZ.

From: Tony Date: August 7, 2004 at 18:47
To my ears anyways has kind of a more 'trashy punk glam' sound to it than to the 'hair' sound of their debut. 'Another day' is the gem here but they rip through this thing like they're snarling all the way through it which is pretty cool. The production on the drums and bass is substandard for sure and what amazes me is you stick Kristy Majors solo disc's next to this and they're not that far apart in style. Not PBF 88' but a good cd for 2004.

From: Geoff Date: August 10, 2004 at 3:41
Just gave the comments a brief overview and I agree with those saying this should not have been released under the PBF name. Only Steve remains and it just sounds like a solo outing with no real reference to any previous PBF disc (Aside from the vocals). Sad truth is that Shameless sound 100% more like PBF than this PBF CD itself. If Shameless with Steve (And Stevie too - noted) have a different band name then why not this disc?

From: Geoff Date: August 10, 2004 at 3:43
That said, I don't dislike this disc and it is pretty cool, but it is just not the PBF we know and love - plain and simple. The tracks are nowhere near as memorable as traditional PBF and the songs still are not etched in my head, but when I hear it I don't mind it and I guess it's a pretty cool punk influenced glam CD - just not PBF!

From: Richierocker Date: August 11, 2004 at 19:36
In the first album Leather Boyz it sounded like they had there own sound, the only thing that makes this album didtinictive is Steve's voice. The songs are decent, the production could have been better and the album is pretty short, doesnt sound much like glam, has a littel bit of a punk vibe to it. I do hope they put out an album soon with a more glam vibe and get out on the road soon.

From: CRAIGDUFRESNE Date: September 5, 2004 at 17:52
I'M ANOTHER FAN OF PBF, BUT THESE GUYS LOST THEIR TOUCH ON THIS RELEASE. ITS SOUNDS WAY TO PUNK, AND AN FAR CRY FORM THEIR GREAT LEATHER BOYS CD. PRODUCTION IS CRAP. SOUNDS LIKE THEY RECORDED IT IN A BATHROOM STALL. UNFORTUNATE. THESE GUYS USED TO BE GREAT.

From: slixxxter Date: September 14, 2004 at 2:16
This cd is 25 0lam, 75ommercial sounding punk (which sux)...thats far too much crappy influence for me. It doesnt suck...but leather boyz is 100 times better, if not 1000.

From: ALEXX GLAM Date: September 18, 2004 at 12:26
YES ITS A LITTLE BIT DIFERENT,LIKE TONY SAID 'TRASHY PUNK GLAM' I LIKE THIS NEW CD ONLY THE BALLAD SUCK MY FAVS 'DEAD' 'SUICIDE' 'THINGS I SAID' 'ITS ALRIGHT'

From: Date: October 14, 2004 at 10:38
Can Anything With Steve Summers Sounds Bad?..NO!!! Everything he sings On Is Great..& This cd is an awesome cd.

From: FRATELLO Date: October 15, 2004 at 2:37
yes, if there wasn't Steve Summers on vocals, you hardly could guess that it's Pretty Boy Floyd. Maybe except the ballad. Still the album is pretty good and funny.

From: CC Date: November 8, 2004 at 14:07
Jesus Christ,it was released in 2003,do you really expect the band to sound exactly the same? Summers is older so I doubt he is gonna be singing songs about High School & first dates anymore now is he! If I wanna here Leather boyz I'll listen to the debut,I dont wanna hear the same album released again and again and again.......this aint AC/DC ya know!

From: Rich Date: November 30, 2004 at 14:02
Absoloute b!'$#cks this one! Huge PBF fan...until this arrived. Made me sick to my stomach that my favourite band could release such tosh!! Insult to all those who supported them through the years! Oh its sleazy glam alright, but possibly the worst CD of its kind that I have ever heard. Production isnt essential for this type of music, but should sound betterand have 'songs'. Recorded in the toilets accross from Stevies dealer?! Thanx guys, stcitched me up & left me with a worthless CD, Cheers

From: Andii Vamp Date: December 10, 2004 at 21:37
Great CD this... not their best though but still great. Also.. there are a couple of songs on this disc that were previously done with Lesli's old band The Distractions (Well... they are Distractions songs lol!). Loved that band!! A great CD, nothing spectacular but great nonetheless!

From: tomcat Date: December 16, 2004 at 9:37
'it's allright', the other version that was on the ep that was limited released before this release had a rawer version of the song 'it's allright' but hell yeah, steve summers is a cool m.f. and this album rocks bigtime..

From: Andii Vamp Date: January 8, 2005 at 9:52
Been playing this one a lot now and actually, it fucking rocks upon more listens! You can actually hear the influence Lesli had on PBF on this disc.

From: Dean Date: March 30, 2005 at 9:32
Wasn't sure if i wanted to hear this since I have yet to hear a PBF song i don't like, but now that i finally got my hands on this one I'm happy to say I love it just as much as the rest. To me it just sounds like PBF pretty much always has, they always kind of had a punkish type of energy to 'em anyway now it's just a little more apparent in the riffs. If anything it reminds me more of the first Crue album. Steve summers always sounds good.

From: vinnie Date: May 5, 2005 at 20:42
this is the best cd from the best glam band ever!!! and its NOT alternative its pure glam punk, the leather boys is a good cd but in 80's pretty boy floyd was just another 'cover' band, and now they have the atittude the look and they sound better than never!

From: shark attack Date: July 26, 2007 at 12:39
AWFUL!!!!crap songs, crap production, crap musicianship this is a bad joke and believe me the live shows ain't much better.Without doubt this ain't PRETTY BOY FLOYD but Steve Summers trying to make money off his past (he`s lost his voice, look`s and brain`s)as this bares no resemblance to Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz era PBF(this is just bad punk rock) I think he knows his times up with the amount off touring he`s done of recent(squeeze that lemon till it`s dry Steve!!!)AVOID.......1/10

From: hair metal again Date: August 12, 2010 at 1:52
this is different than other PBF releases, but good enuff i think.there are no big solos,no big drums, the production is poor but there is a certain strength in the songs and the melodies and a nice groove.my favs are "its alright","suicide" and "727".ok release
