If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Tesla CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Tesla are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I love Tesla and I have dearly loved all of their studio albums, but I have to be honest here. I think this is pure and utter shit. Track for track, these are the worst songs Tesla have ever recorded and every single original track they're done is better than anything off these albums. IMO the songs are horrible and there is not a trace of the melodic/commercial edge that has made Tesla so excellent in the past. I can't wait for the next studio album, but avoid this one like hell. Horrible.

I've mentioned elsewhere that I don't like cover albums, but this one is a bit special. The choice of songs is pretty inspired and if you grew up in the late 70's to 80' many of these will bring back great memories of either cool parties or nights headbanging at the local club. The recording is superb and although the versions are pretty faithful to the originals the band add their own slant. Rock Bottom, Walk Away and Not Fragile are great and Shooting Star too, they're all good ..grab it.

I have been a Tesla fan since the beginning...and I have to admit that when Into the Now came out, I was amazed! When this was announced I was excited too, especially since they have so many cover b-sides floating around prior to this...but, this is somewhat of a disappointment. There are some really great tracks here; DISC I: #4,5,6,8,10,12,13..the rest is filler.DISC II: #14,16,20-25..which makes II better than I. However, the box set better come up with some damn good unreleased gems! "B"

Covers albums are usually hit or miss w/ me, but this collection is awesome. Nobody should miss out on this, just too many great songs covered so well here. Oh, that's right...we're talking about Tesla here, aren't we?! Pick up both of these CDs, you'll be glad you did!

a Great Release..I too am not a fan of Cover releases but this one is KILLER. The attention to detail is vast..hell they even used vintage equipment...I really like this one...Recommended

Look at that Ebay price. You've got to be shittin' me! Ain't no way in HELL I'd pay $28 for this, new! After hearing Reel One, I had no interest in ponying up another $11 for another disc of the same (don't get me started on the dumb marketing ploy, "come to the show and we'll give you the second disc"). Most of these songs are mediocre, some are downright awful, adn only the Zep tune is actually good, and maybe the UFO one as well. I've played this disc maybe three times since the novelty wore off (about a week after getting it). Tesla are, or should be, better than this crap.

rock n roll music seems to be one and the same through the years.tesla give credit to that and release some covers of "big" bands.what i want to say is that tesla is much more talented and feel good band from all these giants.for example "love song" is a fantastic song, agreat moment in hard rock history.search inside you and decide which songs are classic ...

I like this album(s), Disc 2 (Reel 2) is way better, IMO.
