If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Yes CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Yes are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

It's a bit hard for me, being a Yes die-hard fan, but I have to advise that this is just pleasant. It doesn't really grab hold. It is good without being great, skilled without being challenging. In short, is it essential? For a casual fan, no. But, if like me you have all other Yes albums, you will get this one too. Even though it is slightly disappointing. Best tracks are the opening track and closing track. Rating C+.

The 3rd album with singer Jon Davison, and this new Yes finally takes off! I enjoyed The Quest, especially the great opening track The Ice Bridge, but Mirror to the Sky is very different (although supposedly, these tracks are based upon ideas that were left over from The Quest) and much stronger. The band sounds fresh and inspired on the playful Cut from the stars, while longer tracks such as All connected, Luminosity and the title track ooze class and grow with every spin. Living out their dream is a quirky rocker with great CSN-style vocals, and Circles of time is a sweet, laid back track that doesn't do much for me yet, but who knows. Give it some time. The 2nd cd, Unknown Place is an adventurous, organ-heavy exercise, that could / should have been on the main disc! 90 points from me, certainly the most rewarding Yes-album since The Ladder from 1999. I think it's even better than that one.
