If you notice that a particular Noiseworks CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Noiseworks are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

without any doubt their weakest release. very average aor.

Awful!! Get their second album 'Touch' and you won't be disappointed, as it is a prime slab of AOR....this one seems to come under the 'we hope you like our new direction' label. Very weak.

'R.I.P' is a lovely heartfelt ballad and 'Hot chilli woman' is a cool hard rocker. The rest? Pretty damn poor and avoidable.

Man oh man what a bad release from this truly gifted band. Their first two releases were spot on tho. Some awesome songs to be found on those ones. IMO one of the best bands coming from down under. And one of the best voices around is Mr. Jon Stevens. Always wondered why he didnot "make it" with INXS. Anyways has anyone news on Noiseworks ? I mean these guys should reunite !

Majority of this was Noiseworks attempting to be INXS! Having been sent back to the studio (then with US producer Randy Jackson for all you info nuts) the final product was too varied and void of the hard rocking identity they had offered previously. And that was evident from the outset with the pre album release singles particularly with the bubblegum blast of Hot Chilli Woman, quite a contrast from the AOR leanings of Touch. Yet for the many tunes that didn't work they still managed to resonate due to Steven's incredible vocals (for example Jealousy, the title track, Don't Lead etc), and a good few tracks such as the already mentioned RIP actually delivered; Day Will Come is magnificent, Stevens at his best, Everyday People another standout, as is Burning Cross, both tracks back to Noiseworks' standard musically and lyrically, Liberty Bell is another. As an album it hasn't aged so well but surprisingly a handful of the the songs still shine. Pales against Touch but enjoyable.

Brilliant release!!!...more into the mainstream than their 2 previous albums which are the huge ones undoubtedly...basically this one is more commercial all over..."Jeaolousy (Is A Curse)", "Hot Chilli Woman"(rocks)& "Liberty Bell" are 3 in a row excellent tracks,"R.I.P. (Millie)" is a beautiful solid ballad, strong but sensitive,"Take You Higher" is a decent cover of Sly & The Family Stone song,"Day Will Come" is a nice AORish track with a big choral singing as a back up,"Miles & Miles" catchy one,"Burning Cross" is a top notch track along with the last one "Freedom"...this was and is their last record known of the band...a band that deserved more IMHO...i'll give this 96/100.
