The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Joanna Dean CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Joanna Dean are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I've yet to hear the entire CD, but I loved Joanna's vocals and attitude on the single "Kiss This".

This album KICKS *ss! One of the best female rock voices I have ever heard. I would reccomend this ailbum to anyone who likes south style rock-n-roll. FAV SONGS; MISBEHAVIN 'DIRTY FINGERS AND SATURDAY NIGHT. Try These Out. I bet you"ll get hooked. LATER THE DEMON

this is a great cd, why it didn't sell more is beyond me. anyone who listens to it and enjoys a good female rock artist will love it.

Un Hard/Rock con aire sureño por ahí(Ready For Saturday Night) pero que gusta más por la voz de Joanna Dean vaya voz ronquita que se maneja ehh a lo Robin Beck. Buenos coros en "Kiss This" "Dirty Fingers", la rockerilla alegrona "I Miss The Money" ok. Lo mejorcito es "Once Is Enough" buenísima balada Mi favorita de lejos y "Burnin' Rubber" HardRock del bueno, esos 2 temas lo mejor del disco. Buena versión del "Gimme Shelter". 8/10

Pretty cool hard rock with some bite. Joanna Dean has a great hard edge and rougher voice which suits this pretty good hard rock disc. SHe can belt out some notes. I do hear a hint of country in her tone - just a bit though and with a name like Joanna Dean - why not? I'd recommend it to hard rock fans of 80's style.

She seams the Marty Friedman's sister ahahah!I could take her only if she'd sounds like Cacophony....

From: metalhead4life Date: November 26, 2008 at 14:01
z4roxx; nah, no Cacophony here hahaha..............just hard rock with some bite and a pretty good female singer. Here's the video for "Kiss This" from this album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV4ZHCQHEhc here's "Ready For Saturday Night" also from this album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAa4cpvZkXg and here's the song "once is enough" from this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3TxRloYNsE

Thanks metalhead4life for the youtube link, didn't think she had a very good rough and energic voice like that.Music is poor but I understand the period at the end of 80's and it was great for that fact.I've listened to the same energy as Bonnie Tyler(one of my faves).I save few names in female panoramana voices but this M.Friedman's sister would be one of those????

From: metalhead4life Date: November 26, 2008 at 19:54
I like Bonnie Tyler too z4roxx; also like Grace Slick and Anne Wilson from Heart. Other than that I really don't have many female singers in my collection - I like Lorraine Lewis the singer on the Femme Fatale S/T CD even if a little rough; Lee Aaron is good too; I also just recently found out about Erika (former wife of Yngwie Malmsteen) and she has two CD's (Cold Winter Night from 1989 or 1990 and Arms Of a Stranger from 1991). Arms of a Stranger is a good song and the rest of that CD sounds good as well. That will be one of my next ones to pick up.

ok release by JOANNA DEAN ,but nothing blowminding!definitely tryin to catch the sound of that era although it sobvious that she s not into the hard rock scene !nice production & sound and 1 really good song "once is enough" will make this a harmless addition to your collection
