If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular XYZ CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from XYZ are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Best suited to those who simply want to round out their XYZ collection. This is a pretty unremarkable recording from a truly great band.

From: rock star Date: June 13, 2002 at 7:39
very best album

From: dokken6008 Date: June 27, 2002 at 4:50
I don't mean to be bitch--great and everything, BUUUUUUUT....... where the hell is "Souvenirs"?!! Don't tell me that they never performed that song live....

From: Steve T Date: September 6, 2002 at 8:45
Songs 11 - 14 are the band's best songs from all their recorded output. If the new album is in that vein then it will be HUGE.

From: angry Date: December 28, 2002 at 4:12
Are they still around? one of the greatest band? anyone not agree?

From: chavezrockn Date: February 21, 2003 at 6:02
xyz was my favorite band in the early 90's they were real heavy, I wish they would reunite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: from quebec Date: March 18, 2003 at 0:38

From: Metal T Date: October 30, 2003 at 22:04
Great performance! Xyz are beyond the f..king term "hair metal",they are just a kick-ass hardrock/metal band! Believe it or not there are actually 3 different pressings of this, each with different coverart. The french version, the band version and the japan press. The band release and the jap have more songs .

From: PABAB Date: April 28, 2004 at 17:17
Yep but the french version contains 4 tracks from the XYZ Ep - A COLLECTOR!!!!!!

From: Geoff Date: August 16, 2004 at 2:39
I like the live songs, but the four demos on the end are terrible. They could not sound less like the brilliant XYZ we all know and love! Awful and strange!

From: speed demon Date: March 27, 2006 at 23:07
Areally great live album but as noted above we could have done without the demos. As noted in the comments above XYZ was just a kick ass rock n roll band and in my opinion one of the best at what they did! This would be a nice addition to your collection.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 15, 2011 at 21:12
Plesant live album but the bonus studio tracks that are in it aren't that good IMHO and that dulls the effectiveness of the release...anyway it's kinda nice to listen live versions of songs such as "Take What You Can","Come On 'N Love Me","What Keeps Me Lovin' You","Inside Out" & "Nice Day To Die"...about the studio tracks "When I Find Love" & "I Know What's On Your Mind" are the ones that caught my attention but honestly the whole studio side is kinda forgettable IMHO...still the album is enjoyable mostly for the live songs...a matter of tastes i guess....92/100

Was researching XYZ and saw this HG Wells album cover. Awesome art, almost makes me want to track it down just for that! Sadly, it appears there is no cover version of a Jeff Wayne track to be found.
