I love this album but itis rather old (5 years at least). This is/ was an Aussie bar band whose lead singer wore tight shorts with feather Boa's (weird). Tracks 1,2 and 4 are great upbeat rockers with catchy choruses and punchy production. Australia seems to knock out these with ease. maybe the UK should take a leaf! The lyrics are full of double entendre and if you are at all homophobic you probably wont like it as the singer is as bent as a nine bob note!!. Great cd though.

pretty damn cool cd from some of the old roxus boys, no idea where the others came from. some good rockers on here as well as the softer songs and ballads. mountain and youre so vain(a cover) both became decent hits in australia. you could also get this cd with a bonus live disc which is decent. they had a follow up album called "box" and then they dissappeared.

Adam Thompson is certainly a flamboyant showman. This was a really good disc for the time. They broke big in Australia with an inspired cover of the Carly Simon classic. But, the best songs on the album are the ballad "Mountain" and the upbeat rocker "Four Letter Word". It really is a good record. For fans of pub rock (albeit with more of a pop leaning).
