| LaTorre has been in the Ryche fold now for now close to a decade. I'm not a huge fan, as I saw the band open for KISS in mid 80's and headline the Empire tour. Many would say that was their swan song before they continued to lower the standard with future Tate releases. Their Batman like logo is cool enough, but the first 5 albums was the band at it's peak of powers, that can be imitated but never replicated IMO. LaTorre in interviews has said as much, as he knows his place in the band and what the fans want. Hey does a respectable job with classic material and helps point the band in the direction most fans want. This release is solid enough, but not in the same league of the early albums.

| I just saw these guys last week open for Priest, second time around on their tour, the same lineup last year. La Torre is a good singer, and front man. The "problem," there is no magic with this band and they do no favors to their fans not performing "Silent Lucidity" and "Jet City Woman." Both times ignored - we fans then look at each other and go "huh?"

| Fer my ears the classic era Top5 Ryche is untouchable, yet ToddRyche are unwavering in their quest to right the QR ship and DNA is by far their most faithful record yet. While forging into new territory QR manage moreso than ever to remain loyal to their past, old school riffery, dual leads, melodies and killer vocals are in abundance. Whether it's the Empire-like singalongs of Chapters, Lost In Sorrow and Forest, the Rage For Order-isms of Behind The Walls and Sicdeth, or the smattering of Mindcrime behind Into The Black and Realms, or their own Verdict-like tunes such as In Extremis and Nocturnal Light, there's something here for fans of all eras. Oh and then there's the monumental headbang of In Tormentum that closes out the album. Like most I pinned for the old days but give DNA a chance, it's a solid album in its own right and very worthy of the Queensryche name.

| I'm glad that they've cut some old songs from their repertoire to make room for new material. The Verdict is my favorite album (just before Empire) of the band so far. But when they go touring it was like The Warning was the new album! DNA is a strong collection as well, with a great sound and depth to it. Hard to pick a favorite, but currently it's Realms, and Sicdeth & Tormentum following closely. Hold on is a real grower.

| The disc opens and closes very strong with not much filler either. Being a Tate fan and Queensryche in general, Todd rocks and he fits well for the band. The Rebel Yell cover is interesting and doesn’t necessarily belong on this disc but works as a bonus track. Will be giving this more spins.
