| This is an excellent melodic hard rock album. that 5 rating is not reflected of this group. I'll give them 8.5.

| This is a great cd!! Scandi sounding AOR in the same vein as Dalton,but with a much better production..A sure buy!!

| Great melodic hardrock!..'Maybe It's Love' is an awesome song! They remind of bands like Heavens Edge or Roko.The singer has a very good voice and the production are excellent!

| 'Hiding In The Shadow' is a perfect song and 'Please, Say Please Me' is such a nice ballad. Overall it's an excellent record. It's AOR mixed with hard rock. Strong Choruses. Good production. A classic .Highly Recomended . 8.5/10. Sounds like a mix beetwen 'Inside Information' by Foreigner and Dalton's 'the race is on'.

| Great album! All good songs!!! I especially love the melodic interaction between the guitar and the keyboards, which is unsurpassed in my opinion. Greatest revelation however is the fabulous drumming by Hedwig Spijkers. He has a very distinctive style, unlike any other drummer I ever heard, in the way he uses his cymbals. Also, the drums sound great; much like Def Leppard's on 'Pyromania'!

| I didn't really get into this one - I think it was because it was at the same time I got the 'Boys will be boy' release by the 'real' Emergency. Not much comparison between those two. This is very standard rock if you ask me. Decent... but really quite poor.

| KICK ASS Dutch band with superb vocals and great production . Anyone liking Roko , Treat , Fate will love Emergency ! To bad this is there only release ! I have heard a few times there were demos floating around but nothing ever came of it !!

| this was released in1989 by bmg/ariola.can you remember what was going on at that time?everyday was released a masterpiece of hard rock\hair metal music.so i understand why emergency didn't make it.this is anice european hard rock album,with good songs like"hiding in the shadow","maybe it s love","please say please me" and some pretty average songs.the band shows some skill but nothing that blows your mind.i wouldn t call it agem but i think its acceptable

| Loads of favorable comments on this one and again, a "familiar hold out" just wasn't impressed!!!! I don't understand it....It has to be the musical style because this is one of the classic and outstanding examples of 80's AOR available anywhere. This album is loaded with catchy hooks, some cool choruses and big, layered backing vocals like GUIFFRIA's "Silk & Steel" album. The similiarities to CHINA SKY, early SKAGARACK and ZINATRA also abound and delite my ears to the max.

| Personally, I wouldn't reach for this CD unless there was some kind of time-crunchin' emergency kicking off that meant I couldn't grab anything else. If the best melodic rock albums are like world-class ninjitsu warriors, then this one is like the little kid down at the local dojo who just got his green belt; yeah, he might be able to do a nifty kick or two, but he ain't nothin' when compared to a master martial artist. I don't think there should be a law banning this CD from ever being played again, and it will appeal more strongly to AOR fans than hard rockers, but I sold it after one spin many years ago and haven't missed it since.

| Ok guys this is a good release but the low peak is that it sounds way too much to either Paul Sabu's solo albums or the music Paul did with Only Child,the songs are catchy and well,that's the matter.."Hidding In The Shadow" is a smooth and at the same time edgy track,excellent indeed,"All Runnin' Wild" has the craziest drumming and percussion ever!...or almost..hahaha,this is a wild track!,"Please,Say Please Me" is an excellent ballad..then for me the killer tracks are 6,7,8 and 10..."Just One Precious Moment" is a solid ballad too..without the Sabu issue,this is a very interesting release..90/100

| Reminds me of early 80-s Uriah Heep and mid-80s Magnum. Great singer, fantastic interplay between guitars & keyboards, a more than solid rhythm section. The ballads are above average, Ithink for now Reachig out is my favorite track. Weird how I missed this band completely, this is quality stuff for anyone who loves vintage melodic hardrock.
