If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Faro CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Faro are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The guys sounded a little plain first listen, but I'm glad I stuck with the CD, as repeated listens reveals some solid melodic rock songs. The guy's sound is clearly European, with a strong German flavor in their musical delivery. With that in mind and considering the style of the tunes they write and play puts them into the same category musically as Bonfire and the likes of Jaded Heart.

The ballad coast to coast is what made me listen to this band. The cd has a few rockers onboard too.The band has a bit of variety on the cd.All in all I think this is a good cd.

These guys remind me a lot of Zar, especially the two most recent albums both bands released. What you have here is good, solid and well played hard rock. The ballad 'Coast to coast' is very nice, but these guys are well worth checking out if you want a good solid hard rock disc.

From: z4roxx Date: February 17, 2005 at 12:56
That's not a bad cd,it's well played, solid class melodick but there aren't IMO any remarkable songs with good hooks, just generic melodies.I think Zar is 10,000 times better but the Geoff's comparrison is right even if I consider Zar much more metal oriented but the style is similar indeed.

As I said before, I ideally prefer to comment on CDs immediately after listening, and I think I owe this another comment after doing so. Imagine a mix of Zar, Shylock and Shakra and I feel you have Faro. I'd forgotten how excellent the sound and production is here. The first three are awesome hard rockers, and 'Coast to coast' really is a great ballad. The guys sound as though they've been at it for years with a great tight sound. Better than I thought, and a mighty fine disc.

When I’ve bought this one in 2003 didn t impressed me but recently I’ve heard again and I must change my opinion.Great release, for funs of Fair Warning and Shylock this is a very good cd,great vox by C.Somapala who emulate sometimes the Tommy Heart way of singing. Not a single filler here,9.5/10 or 4.5/5 or 95/100!

From: IronSaviour Date: January 23, 2007 at 21:15
For what it's worth, Somapala was the lead vocalist for the band Avalon and Power metal band Firewind. From what i could recall, the vocals didn't stand out. Maybe i'll hunt this down and give it a whirl.

From: z4roxx Date: January 28, 2007 at 12:10
BTW Somapala is a good singer, better here than Avalon. In which Firewind cd did he sing?I am waiting for the debut(maybe he sing there?),I do have the last one and it’s awesome with Apollo Papathanasio on vox,he was the singer of Time Requiem(good band)and especially of Majestic, great symphonic progressive metal, for funs of Symphony it’s recommended.

Buen Melodic HardRock, tiene sus fillers pero hay temas que son realmente Muy buenos "Surrender" es mi Favorita Un temazo por donde se le mire y "Coast to Coast" en plan balada Excelente. En menor grado están "I Am What I Am" "You're on the Run" "Long Way Home" "Living in Extremes" "The Beast" y "I Remember" el resto regular. 8/10
