Dr. Sin is without a doubt the most technical hard rock outfit from Latin America. These Brazilian guys are just magic shredders on their instruments. The Bosic brothers, Andria - vocals/bass and Ivan - drums, are the soul of the band. Guitarist Eduardo Ardanuy joined the bros later. This first self titled effort is simply awesome. By the time I first listened to it, somewhere around 1993, I couldn't believe that they were from São Paulo. "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" is a Credence Clearwater Re

These band is the best hardrock band of the world. The best talent in guitar and awesome teamplaying band. There are 3 musics that all of you have to listen: Have you ever seen the rain, Emotional Catastrophe, e Isolated. Just amazing!

From: Gabriel Alves Date: June 17, 2004 at 6:29
This is their best album. They show that hard rock is better if it´s played by good musicians. If you are looking for a good brazilian hard rock band, you´ve found it. Buy it as soon as possible!!

Great cd but does this band have an acutal website? I tried clicking on the link to their home page above, and it took me to a porno sight. Great cd...these brazilans know how to rock! 10/10

When I think of Brasil I can only mentione bands like Sepultura,Sarcofago or Dorsal Atlantica…It’s a big surprise to add now also Dr.Sin to represent one of the finest bands in the melodick rock scene heard recently. This is the best and true hard rock espression:technical, great musicians, researched melodies and spectacular arrangements…this trio is wonderful,I love bands with a rhythmic session like these guys.10/10.How many other releases sound like this one?(I mean Dr.Sin cds'),thanks!!!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: August 19, 2006 at 11:34
Good Hard/Sleazy Rock album, pero 10/10 haha por favor a veces la gente bromea es un buen disco sin mas algunos buenos temas otros aburridos personalmente 8/10 sin pasar tampoco asi de simple.

From: z4roxx Date: August 20, 2006 at 11:56
Dear Rafo, sometimes music is not only mega melodick tunes, catchy generic hooks ect…sometimes there are great bands who made great music with alternative ideas, researched riffs and awesome performances.I want to give 10/10 to all the bands like Dr.Sin that can transmit somethin’without usin’the same generic 2 riffs…

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: August 20, 2006 at 18:16
z4roxx m8 np but from brasil i prefer to Joker or Pleasure Maker in this kind of rock is my personal preference but i think that the best brazilian band of rock always will be Sepultura i like a lot this band specially Beneath The Remains album in trash metal first Metallica and Sepultura are the best, i like all styles of Rock & Pop since A-Ha to Sepultura, Righeira to Vanadium, Pop to Trash Metal (not Death Metal this kind of rock is only shit) only the best Rock, all the best for you z4roxx

From: z4roxx Date: August 21, 2006 at 15:14
Ahahah great Rafo, you are like me,from pop/aor to iper-blastind grind core!I go from Marylin Martin to Cephalic Carnage or Cryptopsy!!Unfortunately I didn t hear yet the Joker from Brazil but only from Portugal and certainly those from Usa who are one of my fave bands.Pleasure Maker is great but.I find Dr.Sin more special and personal like the others.”Beneath the remains”and”Arise”are among my fave cds’ever but,as in these genres,I like underground panorama also in prog/techno metal/thrash/Death

GREAT CD 90/100 please BUY IT NOW ! this is greatest BRAZILIAN band EVER ! the prod.from STEFAN GALFAS (STRYPER/SAXON/LOUDNESS/SAVATAGE)is gOOD ! The playing level is as high as the vocal & composition abilities , which are stellar !Eduardo Ardanuy is an AMAZING guitar player ,he can SHRED but can be very melodic at the same time A REAL GUITAR HERO ! the BUSIC brothers are very good and what a voice you have to listen to"silent screams" wich is even better !

From: Delbert Date: January 3, 2010 at 20:11
In my opinion, this has to be the best hard rock band to come out of Brazil. These guys are brilliant and only on this release. Imagine a killer guitar riffed orgy mix of VAN HALEN, WHITE EAGLE, PANGEA (Danish band) and a tougher sounding FLORENCE 99 (minus the keys). The guitar player totally rips and the singer has an incredible voice. Loaded with beefy hooks, this is one of the better hard rock bands that I would recommend to all collectors.

I knew nothing about these guys until I found this in a used cd store a few years ago. I actually bought it because of the front art work. I'm a sucker for anything that has snakes, skulls, and of coarse girls, on the front. A great buy! I never though I'd be listening to this style music from South America. A great disc worth having in any collection.
