If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Big Guns CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Big Guns are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I really liked this release, worth the cd's I traded for it.

Big Guns goes for the Big Bucks- unfortunately, Ian Taylor's vocals on this CD don't quite match the talents of his bandmates. Here, the usual velvety synth throw-pillows are tossed over a bed of shopworn AOR chord progressions. Similar to Artica, 1st Avenue, etc. With a better vocalist and a bit more in the production dept., this could have something actually worth flappin your bills at.

Big Guns.....i replaced Neil Brocklebank in Big Guns as guitarist in 1994. We did actually record another album (better??) which was never released, if anyone wants to hear it let me know! It did have much better production. The first album only cost about £3000 to make so it was on a budget!! phil@onejovi.com

Excellent melodicrock album, with good harmony vocals, nice keyboards and overall well played. Sounds like a mix of early Danger Danger(Let's Get Crazy,Living It Up),Alliance(Picking Up The Pieces)and Bangalore Choir...recommended!

From: Geoff Date: March 10, 2005 at 6:30
Wow, the potential this band showed!!! 'Livin' it up' could sincerely not be a better opener, and is melodic hard rock at the top of it's game - sensational! What follows is not bad, but just good hard rock... until we get to 'Lets get crazy'. Again, melodic hard rock perfection, as is the next track, 'City lights'. These three tracks will blow your mind, the rest is okay. I love this album for those 3 songs though.

From: Geoff Date: March 10, 2005 at 17:19
Hey David - that's the second release you've mentioned on Suncity Records that I cannot wait to hear! My email address is gwols@cometals.com.au and I would love to hear all you have to offer on this... and the other one you told me about a few days ago. Which one was that again? FYI, my other email address outside business hours is ihaveteeth@hotmail.com

The vocals are like Kal Swans from 'Lion' like it. I would say they are niether the best or worst of this genre, but in all honestly they are above the average for this style of music.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: June 20, 2010 at 1:05
