If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Mannerheim CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Mannerheim are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Good solid hard rock / metal. Nothing exceptional, except the guitar playing of Sami Virtanen, who is defenitely one of the greatest guitar players around (I kid you not, please listen to the soundbytes available). He is among the very very few metal guitarists with an easily regognizable style of his own (and yet he is totally unknown, even here in his native Finland). Probably quite a rare find, this one, but should you come across it, it is worth checking out. Standout track: Stealin'

This is good solid heavy rock - reminds me a lot of Mennen. Only difference is Mennen possess a great vocalist and this dude is pretty average - strong accent. But still, pretty cool hard rock CD.

Songwise "Feel the Dawn" is a stunning debut. You've got tricky riffs combined with catchy choruses (Rocky Road), in-your-face rockers (Stealin'), a truly moving ballad (Torn to Pieces) and a major mixture of mystic, madness, magic and melancholy (You Can Trust Me).This, their debut album, even begins with a truly inspired and caring guitar interpretation of the great Finnish classic hymn"Finlandia" titled here as "Finlandia Intro". And that's only half of the story. I would also recommend their followup release.
